Unilateral Stipulation on My Connecting Tone and Service Charges
I refer to your invoice issued on 11 November 2004 regarding the two items of My Connecting Tone Monthly Fee charged correspondingly i) HK$ 1.29, from 17 October 2004 to 18 October 2004 and ii) HK$ 4.52, from 17 October 2004 to 23 October 2004. I would like to deliver herewith my complaint for your kind onward feedback and action.
The incident was triggered by your unilateral stipulation on My Connecting Tone when I visited your branch shop at Argyle Street, Mongkok in the evening of 17 October 2004 for the authorization of auto-pay for the service charges by my MasterCard account. The ONLY service I demanded was to register my credit card account for the payment transaction of my bill as I could enjoy your telecom services without any worry about the late payment. However, this action has only brought me closer to trouble, disappointment and irritation to your high-blown services, but not closer to the people, the information and the entertainment that is important to me as quoted on your official webpage.
After filling in the authorization form at the counter, you staff told me a one-month FREE trial of My Connecting Tone would be offered upon the registration of auto-pay by MasterCard. I refused to accept the captioned immediately since I was not interested in such service, but your staff continually urged me to accept the aforesaid offer because it was absolutely free of charge and it was a special opportunity for the clients who have never tried it. Moreover, your staff insisted that this free trial had to be accompanied with the registration, as it was under a part of your company's policy.
I was confused at that moment because I am the customer who pays for the telecom services, but I have not got the rights to refuse the acceptance of any offer. It was rude and savage to force your customers to accept a so-called free and special offer. After a five-minute worthless negotiation, I surrendered and accepted such offer but immediately asked for the termination. Nonetheless, your staff said that the service could only be terminated at the midnight until the service had been started and I should wait to make my termination through your 24-hour Service Hotline after 12:00 am.
Another problem has been raised: It was ridiculous that I should wait for the annoying and unfriendly service to begin and then terminate it by myself. At about 12:00 am of 18 October 2004, I gave a call to the hotline and launched my complaint to your staff. After a few hours, my ring tone was restored to normal and the case was further referred to the man-in-charge of your Argyle Street Branch.
The said man-in-charge replied me on phone in the evening of 18 October 2004. He kindly admitted that your salesmen and services were not flexible enough for the customers with special demands. He also consented to reflect my opinions to your Marketing Department and reminded the frontline staff to respect the choice of your clients. I was satisfied for his replies and accepted this was an exceptional case, but I could never imagine this disturbing event would be happened again.
On 12 November 2004, I received my bill by email and shocked by the two items charging me a total of HK$ 5.81 Monthly Fee for the use of My Connecting Tone. It was amazing that I was the customer who was forced to 'enjoy' an unwilling service and superfluously terminated the service, but your company is still claiming me charges.
I directly called to your hotline and expressed my discontentment, heartbreak and furies to your services. Your staff, Miss Yeung, mentioned that she could not review my bill at that time due to the computer system was being updated and she promised to reply me within 48 hours. However, I have NEVER received any response from your party up to the date of this letter.
As a customer holding two registered telephone numbers in your company, I admire your excellent and stable network very much and have used your services for more than three years. I always encourage my family members, friends and colleagues to choose Smartone as the first-choice telecom companies in Hong Kong. Nevertheless, these incidents have already lessened my confidence in using your high-graded services since a customer-oriented company always liable in ensuing our established rights and reasonable expectations.
Your immediate replies, by BOTH verbal and written, would be highly appreciated. If I could not receive any kind of reply and monetary compensation including the time loss within a week from the issued date of this letter, I will send my complaint to the Customer Council and the press without further notice.

鬧交…
最近同愛B o既爭吵忽然之間多佐,呢兩晚都係鬧交收場咁去訓覺。雖然係短訊對峙,但係雙方都有o的火…我真係好憎咁樣。
原因其實同之前o既問題亦都係一樣,我真係好想可以盡快解決到呢兩個問題,我唔想再「不能改變,唯有忍耐」,我覺得咁樣太消極、太逃避。
或者係我本身個人性急,迫得愛B太緊,但係愛B o係面對一o的能力範圍以外o既問題o個時,通常都會先選擇去逃避…我明白有o的長久都解決唔到o既問題,確實會令人氣餒,但係毛毛最喜愛o既,係愛B o既積極一面…
相信我,我o地一定可以搞掂佢o既!

《「後中環」論述的虛妄》

從灣仔到觀塘,從舊中環警署到衙前圍村,關於香港城市規劃和舊區重建的討論,已經從那種唯快是尚、唯多是好、唯錢是美的「中環價值」論述,漸漸地添上了幾許「人味」。保留歷史重不重要?重要。文化氛圍重不重要?重要。環境保護重不重要?重要。社區網絡重不重要?當然重要。這些新注入的價值如此神聖,口號如此美麗,所以沒有人敢再明目張膽地反對,甚至連高層主管有佣金可分的市區重建局和保守頑固的房協,現在也都學會了這套言辭,左一句「保育」,右一句「可持續發展」。香港的未來,看上去很美。
所以這時候我們要更小心地去看這組嶄新的城市規劃共識,注意其中各式各樣的陷阱。且以灣仔有名的「藍屋」為例,這座造型獨特、外牆顏色令人一見難忘的老房子透過電影、電視和各種傳媒影像的散播,已經成為許多人心目中老灣仔的代表。回憶起來,藍屋、喜帖街、灣仔街市大樓這些坐標總是充滿了浪漫的懷舊色彩,每個人聽說要拆要改都會流露出依依不捨的神態。更何況它們還登上了海外旅遊節目和指南介紹,成為許多遊客獵奇的場景。所以保留這些老建築老區塊就是一種文化、歷史和審美經驗的課題了。
近數十年來,許多有點歷史的老城都啟動了「舊區再生」的工程。尤其是歐美國家,更是官商聯手地投入了大筆資金,把一些因為郊區化發展而變得空洞敗落的市中心變成了吸引「潮」人「型」人的時尚街段。其中的核心就是文化藝術界最熱中的「閒置空間再利用」,也就是將廢棄的貨倉和工廠粉刷改造為畫廊、劇場與藝術家的工作室。近一點的例子有北京的大山子藝術區和上海的蘇州河貨倉,當地政府都試圖圍繞著這些新興文化點建立起一套創意產業和旅遊工業設施密集的新城區。
這條路之所以走得出去,首先是因為「資本主義的文化轉型」(Cultural Turn of Capitalism),使得經驗和審美變成新時代消費方式的關鍵詞。大家愈來愈在乎品味,買車不再是為了交通而是為了一種「感覺」,買i-pod 不是為了音樂而是為了一種生活方式。同樣地,城市與建築也得提供一套獨特的審美經驗,才能聚納人群與資金。在這樣的年代,有什麼要比設計師和藝術家更有創意更有型的人呢?所以一個老區只要有一批搞文化的人聚集,開幾家藝廊,弄些音樂表演,附近就會招來陳設新潮的餐館酒吧咖啡店,還有愈來愈多的個性小商店。
不知到底是什麼原因,舊房子變成藝術中心,老區域變成文化地帶,總是給人一種特別協調特別有味道的感覺,似乎「老」和「文化」有著天生的血緣關係(有關討論可參見英國史學家Raphael Samuel的經典之作《Theatres of Memory: Past and Present in Contemporary Culture》)。所以近年香港舊區重建那一套「後中環價值」論述也很喜歡搞點「閒置空間再利用」,例如市建局的利東街重建案就要有個小小的傳統婚俗文化展覽館,而最新的藍屋規劃案也打算「保育」藍屋,讓它成為一個很有文化的景觀。
但問題是藍屋不像北京大山子的七九八工廠,也不像土瓜灣的牛棚,它絕非什麼「閒置空間」,而是一個切切實實有人生活有人居住的房子。如今官方推出的這套很有「後中環」色彩的保育方法卻在流行的創意文化語言底下,徹底忽略了原居此地的居民,忽略了他們的訴求與聲音,預先地把它當作無人的「閒置空間」,然後就可以好好地「再利用」了(其實藍屋本來不叫藍屋,那層藍色也是政府在10年前漆上去的,當地居民管它叫石水渠72a。詳見「香港獨立媒體」網之「灣仔民間」專欄:http://www.inmediahk.net/public/group-view?group_id=39&display=1)。
這種種「舊城再生」的新手段,城市改造的「後中環」論述之所以大行其道,就像管理學家弗羅里達(Richard Florida)所說的,是因為創意階層喜歡富有美感經驗和文化趣味的城區。香港的新中產階級開始厭倦公式化的商場,他們和遊客一樣,喜歡有懷舊風情的街道商店;他們希望自己住在一個比較有文化的地方,就像家裏得佈置一些名師設計的家具精品一樣,好讓自己顯得很有創意很講究生活。所以連最喜歡推高地積比率且從來不嫌房子蓋得密的官方機構也嚷著要保育了,在他們的眼中,灣仔還是要重建的,高樓還是得蓋的;只是多添了幾座老房子,請一些文化人設計師之類的創意階層進來,變成賣點,未來的商業價值只能更高,說不定還可以「持續發展」旅遊項目呢。
所以一切其實都沒變過,就和無數外國大城市的例子一樣,曾經遷往郊區的富人回來了,老區的地價又高漲了,而原來住在此地但財源有限的市民還是給剝去了接近城市中心的權利,要被迫遷離。我們要區分的就是真正以人為本的舊區改造城市規劃,與這種新興的「後中環」論述裏的假人性措辭。在後者的巧妙鋪排裏面,所謂的「以人為本」指的不是原居民的權利老社區的網絡,而是新來者的環境很體貼很適意。他們再三強調要保育的,也不是正在此地生活工作的市民,而是老房子老建築的「特色」。他們要持續發展的,更不是這些市民的生活品質,而是模模糊糊但又非常動聽的「旅遊工業」與「文化氛圍」。

好多人會覺得我好戇居囉,但係千金難買心頭好,而且o個時又搵到錢,六千幾蚊架單車唔駛諗就即買!
佢陪佐我都有兩年o架,o係中大搬返屋企o個時,都特登o係間房裡面做個位去安置佢…
Bianchi係意大利o既牌子,我呢架係road bike,o個架係aluminium o既,唔算係最輕,多數都係用作練習車,再輕o的有比賽用o既graphite架。比上不足比下有餘啦!
其實幾鐘意踩住單車四圍去,一陣陣風撞埋塊面o既感覺。不過車已經轉贈當年留學海外o既好朋友,唔知而家架車o既命運又點呢?

1日3中杯Starbucks 咖啡因超標1倍

以即磨新鮮咖啡作招徠的專門店愈開愈多,但濃郁誘人啡香卻隱藏高濃度咖啡因,本報化驗顯示,坊間一杯普通中杯裝即磨咖啡,已有150至200毫克咖啡因,其中以Starbucks咖啡因濃度最高,上班族早、午、晚3杯提神,已超出成人建議最高攝取量300毫克的1倍。醫生警告,攝取過量咖啡因,隨時會出現「咖啡綜合症」,導致緊張、不安煩躁、焦慮、手震和失眠等。
抽驗5店 Starbucks咖啡因最高
本報上月底在市面抽驗5家連鎖咖啡店,包括Starbucks、Pacific Coffee、Pret A Manger、麥當勞的McCafe,以及Delifrance的新鮮即磨咖啡所含咖啡因。
結果顯示,經常在地鐵(相關新聞 - 網站)站傳出濃濃咖啡香的Starbucks,所售咖啡的咖啡因含量最高,約260毫升的中杯裝咖啡含197毫克咖啡因﹔其次是McCafe,280毫升的中杯裝含164毫克咖啡因﹔第三是Pacific Coffee,290毫升中杯裝含153毫克
咖啡因。
至於一向被認為較淡的美式咖啡(White Americano),以Pret A Manger所售的種類來看,咖啡因含量較低,中杯裝310毫升,只含108毫克咖啡因。
每日攝取量不宜超300毫克
台灣今年8月推出即磨咖啡「紅綠燈」標示,咖啡店要在餐牌上標示各款咖啡的咖啡因含量,含量在100毫克以下為綠燈,100至200毫克列黃燈,超過200毫克為紅燈,一日最好不要飲多過一杯。但本港各大咖啡店均沒有公開旗下咖啡飲品的咖啡因含量,市民難作健康消費選擇。近月Starbucks更特別推出特大裝(約600毫升)咖啡,以本報化驗資料按比例計算,如此一杯已含逾450毫克咖啡因。
根據歐盟食物科學委員會資料,咖啡因會影響中樞神經系統、腎臟和心肺循環系統,台灣衛生當局建議成年人每日不應攝取多過300毫克咖啡因。中大公共衛生學院營養研究中心註冊營養師李靜珣,及香港中毒諮詢中心主任劉飛龍均指出,綜合醫學文獻,成年人咖啡因攝取量最好不超過300至400毫克。
劉飛龍說,長期攝取過量咖啡因,或會在不知不覺間咖啡因慢性中毒,即出現「咖啡因綜合症」,病徵包括精神緊張、焦慮不安、手震、肌肉緊張、失眠、心悸等,致病原因是中樞神經受咖啡因藥效過分警覺。
「近年咖啡店鬥濃鬥香,咖啡都較以前的濃,市民飲咖啡就愈飲愈濃。」劉指咖啡因是尼古丁和酒精以外,現代人「濫用」最多的精神科物質,很多人有「咖啡癮」,對咖啡因有依賴,沒有咖啡便周身不自在、無精力、難集中精神,甚至感到不開心。他贊同咖啡店公開飲品的咖啡因含量。
環署歡迎效台紅綠燈標示
至於本港會否參考台灣經驗,鼓勵商戶推行類似「紅綠燈」的制度,食環署指「這不是食物安全關注,但對消費者而言,提供更多食物成分資料也是好事,署方表歡迎」,消委會認同此舉有利消費權益。

內心好矛盾,因為呢個要求實在有o的過佐界,即使明白兩個人一齊絕對唔應該只可以從對方身上得到快樂,但係要我忍受,卻真係忍唔到…
您o既快樂,會換來我悲劇似的傷感,明白嘛?

做新地商場有個特點,就係星期日、公眾假期咁都一定要有site i/c o係度,老實講,其實又有咩事可以發生o丫…反而星期日真係一個可以好好咁自己做o野o既日子,所以今日星期五係我放假。
放假無無聊,郵差又要返工,冇人陪我落老地方打機。朝早送佐愛B返工後,再行佐落旺角買3M紙用o黎貼o的吉舖玻璃…再返新翠。
返到去坐佐陣吹佐陣水,就返屋企抖o下,但係顧住上網,又冇訓到覺,最近成日都唔夠訓呢…

今晚o係apm睇佐輕鬆o既喜劇The Devil wears Prada(港譯︰《穿Prada的惡魔》),apm o的音響果然幾正,不過o的座位o既排列就唔係咁理想,尤其係高座o個度。
梅麗史翠普好o野,老薑好有戲味同星味,o下o下都做到七情上面,卻又收放自如。不過佢o既對手Anne Hathaway就一般,而且個口極大,好核突。
唔係十分好睇o既一套戲,可能唔係特別討好我o既片類。貪慕虛榮幾乎搞到後生女乜都冇晒…
好有女人味!不過老喇… =)
