Today is the Lunar new year eve, just another new year without red pocket. As I get a hand in tomorrow, my uni classmate asked question about traditional Chinese Lunar new year. At the end, I joke on his and ask him for red pocket (because he is married).
Wish everyone I know have a happy new year and health. Also enjoy their work and study.
Light of Candle is so beautiful because they burn up their life to light the world (Love Year 2K).
The people passed away just like a candle that burn up our life by their life.

Watch a video about 高錕, agree with his life psy. Also think of what acadermics roles in politic. Someone insist that acadermic must not involve in the politic. Personaly, I consider that as an acadermic, our role is the trigger thinking and pass the information to the next generation/ people around us. Somehow, we are part of the society and politic lead the society. Without letting the politician understand the real needs of acadermics, we gotta spend more time and resources on handle problem such as sponsorship.
We can't judge one's behavior by a fixed/pre-judgement. As an acadermic, we need to think of our role in the society and make the contribution to acadermic and society. Student must look longer and wider, investigate and analysis problem at different point of view and never make judgement base on personal emotion and team attribute. Critical and independent thinking is needed for ever judgement made.
