Awaked by brothers at mid-night, reported that a friend's friend (i.e housemate) claim her friend is unhappy about the way I get her school name (which is based on fact and my prediction). When I read about her diary, I feel very upset and sorry. Therefore I made the following claims in her message board.


Firstly I sincerely apologize about the feels of inscure/ sadness/ disappointment about what I done before.
I sincerely present the following key facts, wish you can have a look.
1. This is a private ICQ conversation. No third party will know the content in between us.
2. I just mentioned your school name.
3. IP address is something I got from my access.log file. Which I check and analysis for the attack against my server. The mapping ip address is done via http://combat.uxn.com/ a website against SPAM. What I know is a computer from your school network in East Lincolnshire. So I made the prediction about your school.
4. I don't have ANY intention to use these information carry out an invasion of your privacy. This is not cold war, I'm not someone from KGB/MI5 or CIA.
5. As a professional, I know ethics issues and I obey the Code of Conducts strictly. As a network adminisrator, I'm responsible to stop ANY potential risk/attack over the network - this is what I paid many thousands pounds to learn.
6. I am very upset about your judgement over me based on lack of understanding about the technologies and fact. In Internet, ever connection is logged, no matter you like or not, this is used to protect the service provider and other users.
The fancy counter about user accessed your page in fact is another representation of IP accesses. What is difference is they don't tell you about application of the information collected.
7. If I really want to have your contact information, I will ask you from ICQ/E-mail. Of course you provide it or not is up to you. However I hate to be treated as a thief of information. This is an insult to me.


Everyone have an intention behind their activities, please don't use your point of view to judege everything.

Please evaluate me as a professional, not someone abuse the knowledge.

Can't sleep last night, because suddenly my mind is filled with tones of idea about writing project and coding. At the end, I managed to sleep at 0700, then wake up at 1100, keep writing script about sending a message over network to a Windows side client.
Leave another message at mother school message board.
Downloaded some useful UE tips and send back to HK. Wish it will be useful for their exam.
Read a friend's diary, make me to think of an accident about McDonald.
食麥記後流鼻血事件
上年大概一月時有一天考試後心血來潮想食麥記, 當我在巴士站慢慢享受Big Mac時, 突然一道鮮甜的液體緩緩自鼻腔涌入咽喉. 正當我準備止血時. 守時的巴士司機駕駛他的愛車到站, 我下意識伸手截車. 在我放手的一刻, 鼻血不受控制地導致了所謂"碧血染Big Mac"的景像. 此情此景我只好硬著頭皮以"眼觀鼻, 鼻觀天"的姿勢上車. 不過我當時七竅有三竅流血的景像嚇壞了司機. 雖然我用紙巾止血, 但是到下車時我還不可以止血.
事後我得到的結論如下:
1. 食麥記要堂食
2. 搭巴士等車不要食麥記
3. 食麥記帶多一包紙巾

Mother wish to attend my graduation ceremony in Sept. Yet to confirm time for her.
Today have a long conversation with a secondary school teacher, quite enjoy it.
Ku Ma had an accident a few days ago, today called back to see if she is alright. Wish she recover soon.
When called back to HK, discovered that either can't connect or person unavailable.
Left a message in primary school message board about my concern over government policy on "kill" school in country side area. Anyway, wish my school can overcome it.
Preparing some job application letters, wish they will be useful for my job hunting.

Today call back to HK, Dinasor, Father, Mother, Ka Wo, Yi, and some frined can't get contacted. Anyway, glad that everyone is fine in HK. Just make a report on what's going on and advice mother take less pain-killer as they are harmful to body. Also advice her intake less fat and rest on time.
Discovered that whenever I called back to HK, father will be bombarded by my theory. As he never manage to answer back, the ending is he cut off the conversation.

A friend failed her driving test again, wish she recover soon and pass it next time.

My server is being hacked?
Check the access log of my server become a daily admin duties of me now. However, I discover that someone is trying to hack my server. However, it don't matter too much unless they carry out Deny of Service (DoS) attack. As my server is running entire on RAM and CDROM. When situration go worse, what I need to do is press "reset" and run some shell script after reboot. Even it is up for more than 2 weeks right now.
The funny thing is the hackers are trying to modify a read-only file system (CD-ROM) for system configuration and data. Personal I don't like MS-IIS at all because of performance and security issues (currently the Code Red II Worm at trying inflect IIS server, that make many request to my apache server for "default.ida" from other IIS based server).

I know some guys are keen to reveal other's server configuration and want to do something silly making use of server resources. But please don't annoy me - I need to finish my final year project.

音響
有些熱愛音響的人喜歡"轟"機(即是將音量調高至60-80分貝以上). 以彰顯其擁有器材可以達到所謂"高音甜, 中音準, 低音勁"的"業界標準". 其實如果四周環境安靜/安裝良好隔音設備, 他們並不需要以音量覆蓋環境雜音. 結果在他們享受音樂同時也滋擾/剝奪了別人的權利.
從生物學的角度來說, 聽覺神經長期在高分貝環境下其靈敏性會慢慢降低(其實職業性失聰也是同一道理), 結果他們需要不斷調高音量去聆聽音樂. 與此同時也傷害別人的聽覺.
另一方面, 每人都有自己喜歡/不喜歡/討厭的音樂類型. 我們沒有資格去強迫別人聆聽自己喜歡的音樂. 比方說你是一個虔誠的教徒, 每天有人定時以排山倒海的音量廣播"南無釋迦牟尼佛 南無釋迦牟尼佛 釋迦如來..."本人相信不出三天一定會出現所謂的"宗教仇殺".
如果他們還是執意要"轟"機, 請用earphone/headphone, 以免害己害人.

叉燒
很久沒有吃叉燒飯.
雖然懂得燒叉燒和燒鴨, 但是我還是喜歡香港製造的燒臘(也許是一份故鄉感覺).
不過新鮮燒好的叉燒味道的確是十分誘人,
尤其當天氣寒冬時來一碟熱騰騰的叉燒飯感覺還真不賴.
可是不要期望本人可以創造出所謂"火之藝術".
根據各方面證據顯示, 本人是天生加後天努力都不可能成為一名出色的廚師.
以本人燒叉燒為例 :
1. 人工色素 (印象中是Sunset Red) 過量 - 10%
2. 燒的時間不足導致未熟透 / 有血水 / 色素不上色 - 10%
3. 燒的時間過久導致叉燒變叉燒"柴" (通常因為燒落後要不斷送外賣 i.e. 2-3, 當回來時已經.....) - 20%
4. 叉燒厚薄不一導致有生有熟 (本人刀法實在太差勁) - 20%
5. 叉燒醬太少導致味道不足 - 10%
總而言之合格比率大約為 30%. 在此為不幸曾經食用本人燒製叉燒的顧客致歉.
