Today only have one lesson to attend ja~=]
But I still dozed off during Ecology lesson, I tried my best to weak myself up ga, but the effect didn't last for a long time.
Early lunch with 阿月and Maggie at Coffee Corner.
As I was not hungry, I only ordered chicken leg salad ja~ delicious
Come across Mancy, I met a lot of people in Coffee Corner these two days lei!

Work until 2:30am this morning....I am totally exhausted!
I have lacking of sleep for weeks! I'm turning crazy la~~><

Got back our score sheet for our first ELT graded assignment.
Better than the non-graded one la, got 3 'excellent' and 3 'good' but the final grade is only a B+, the marks are very low la....

Swimming, re-taking the exam again.
Actually I just want to give myself a chance and have no hope for reaching 1'07'' requirement. When I was near the end, I felt dizzy in water and that somehow freaked me off. Luckily it was not very serious and able to finish it.
When Ms Tsang told me my time, I never thought that ' 1'07' ' would be what she said.
I just felt great and happy about reaching this margin and have a grade up. ^^

Lunch@snack bar then go to refreshment area to pre lab.
I don't think the lab is very difficult la, provided that we have used to mixing different cell concentration solution because of the 2 week follow-up lab.

We learnt aseptic technique this time.
The sterilized area should not have any organisms living. So every apparatus and even we, when moved to that area have to be sprayed by ethanol first.
Also, the pippetments and all the bottles for extracting and releasing algal solution should first be sterilized by heating them in a Bunsen burner before and after opening the cover.
Most importantly, we can’t talk during the whole process!! I guess that's the most difficult part la. We have to use sign languages to communicate~:p

Thanks so much for our demonstrator, she is very nice and taught us the techniques and things to be aware of patiently. ^^

After lab, Amy, Elco and I went to ULib to find reference books for the group report.
But after an hour search, we got nothing....:(
We then went down to the journals corner to find topic for Ecology poster presentation. Couldn’t find any topics related to animals' courtship in recent journals tim!

Back to hostel and practice flute. I was very tired and kept dozing off at first, luckily I was able to wake myself up.

Alice was so frustrated about her account mid-term, she seemed very worry lei!
We then went to G/F to have singing con practice.
When we back to our room, I showed her the videos of our school singing contest choir competition. She was amazed that we sang and dance as her school never had that.=]

This time my translation assignment is EXTREMELY difficult!
It's about the disappearance of Eyak's language form the world. Names of places and languages are difficult to find the meaning.....

Three of us chatted before we went to bed. Though I was very sleepy but nice chat~kee

My first mid-term result was released la.
2 people got 20/22 which is the highest, and there are 11 people having a higher score than I do and 8 have the same marks as I....><
Very very low marks ar, and the position in class is low too.
So unhappy that I am within S.D., must add oil in exam (But as Prof. Wong has said, exam would be much much more difficult lei....oppos!)

Work until 3:00 for lab report and translation assignment.
I started doing the translation hw last Wed ga la, have correct it for many times but the translation still sucks!

So tired in today's lesson. Just didn't know what the Prof. was talking about.
Went to ULib to borrow reference book for doing lab report. Thanks阿月for lending me hers la~ ^^

Translation lesson.
I was very FRUSTRATED when I heard that we have ANOTHER assignment to be hand in next Wed!
Sucks! How come all the things clump together.... It's just too heavy that I can't afford....

Ecology tutorial.
Talk about the ans of mid-term. I don't know why I have lost 5 marks, I only did 3 MC wrongly and the calculation part is correct.
Then should be 3 marks being deducted only ma....

Now it's 8:15pm, I have to start working on lab report.
I think I have to burn the mid-night oil until next ‘morning’ la, and 8:30-6:15 lesson plus lab tomorrow.... Depressed....

I guess I went to bed at around two last night.
This morning get up at 7:00, have a final revision of CBC—just flipped through all the notes once and re-read the textbook content on protein separation methods as well as structures of 20 a.a.

Heavy packages again. This time due to the presence of my laptop la.
Thanks Anthony for helping share some of them~=]

Back to hostel early.
Intensively went through the ppt notes once.
Then go to Lady Shaw to have my mid-term la.

The result was expected la. I don't know many of the questions.
The only one question I know and answered in details was about the compare and contrast between protein-protein interaction and enzyme-substrate interaction.

I left several questions blanked. 10 minutes before 12:00, Prof. Ngai came and said early ones could get bonus marks.
Many of us hand in immediately coz we do think struggling for 10 more minutes have a high possibility of getting > 2 marks.

ELT Quiz follows.
I know all the parts except the conversion of a sentence into IPA symbols and not very sure about the answer in sentence stress.

Swimming exam.
My time is 1'13'' for my first attempt and 1'10''for my second attempt. Quicker than last time but still can only get 65 marks for this timing.
I have to swim 1'07'' in order to have a grade up....=.=''
Hope I can do better next time.

Back to hostel and have a rest.

浩然組爸visited my hostel ar~
His reason for doing the lab report well was to leave his 'sons and daughters' a good sources! So touching lei!

CC Carnival.
The Haunted house is very good ar! ^^
I mean by the limited budget and space the effects were already very professional.
But I was not scared as some 'unexpected' thing happened~:p
A boy hidden under the bed suddenly came out and caught one's leg when we open the cloth which covered a model.
But he unexpectedly caught the demonstrator's leg instead of ours. I looked and him and the demonstrator and laughed~kee

Back to hostel and discuss about the group lab report.
All of us are terribly busy and had a densely packed timetable.
Tough time to pass, add oil!
(Don't forget I have CBC presentation on Mon as well.....=.='')

Sem 2 timetable has been released lu.
Lucky ada! I registered all the preferred subjects SUCCESSFULLY! Hee
So happy~ Will post my timetable out later la.
No more Saturday class la, great! Kee
But as a trade-off, no day-off as well~hahaa

Why Glutamine is symbolized by Q? Why Asparagine should be N?

Get up at 9:00 in the morning.
Nearly missed the bus! I was at the end of the street and saw the bus was going to leave, I ran towards it. Luckily I was on time to get on it.Phew~

I don't know why my new mobile can't send SMS lor(but I can receive form others ga wor)

Only 3 of us attended Sunday school ja!
This is because others went to have lunch as they have to arrive at the baptize ceremonyearlier.

I like the melody of the two songs but my tone exercises sucks~><

So sleepy during interpretation lesson.
Receive our mid-term result, only a B+/A-, no good la.... :(
And the probability of upgrading to A- is very low la, coz most of us got the same grade.
Very tired and screwed up today's practices. Luckily, today's practical were non-graded.

B 哥哥、阿方同ms chan chan were on the next table. B 哥哥didn't mix up 小玉and I this time la~kee :p

He is rather weak in writing wor, I have to work hard on this area la.

Go to Broadway to buy new mobile.
First time to use my pocket money to buy such an expensive goods la~hahaaa
I have waited for about two years lu, don't know why the price is still very high at the moment. Shouldn't there be depreciation?

Mum asked me to pay wor (coz I earn $$ from tutorial. The expenditure is about a month of my salary la! :o)

Working hard on entering the telephone numbers to the new mobile instead of revising CBC, so naughty la!
But I'll force myself anyway, to finish the protein part and start some lipid part tonight. Otherwise no sleeping is allowed la! ><

Spend a lot today. Should work harder on tutorial to earn more la (but I just decline a request of tutoring a P.5 girls for teaching English tonight....:p)
Of course, first priority is always put on my academic studies la! Kee
Also have to work hard on Bio mid-term and those torturing lab reports la.... It's hard, but I believe I can make it.

Go to bed at about 3:00am last night, actually I was not very hard working, I only studied until 2:00am ja.
I thought I was the only one to stay in my room. However, I saw Panda was back at around 4:00am(actually I am not sure what time it was, coz I was sleeping~:p)

Get up at 8:00 in the morning, very sleepy indeed.
Go to 1/F to get my clothes, soft wind and warm sunshine, it's a perfect start! ^^
But my clothes were still wet.... Anyway have to take them back to the room la.

Have breakfast in CityU, then moved to discussion area to have our meeting.
We have a long meeting today, almost last for 3 hours; I was so tired, sorry guys....

Then go to Tsung Tin Estate to have my first tutorial.
She is a hardworking girl.
The first thing she asked me was the 宋詞賞析 and comparison between two 宋詞's rhetorical,表達的感慨and people’s hard lives.
Thanks all the Chinese teachers who had taught me Chinese solo-verse speaking. Those 詩詞I have learnt help me understand more about the Chinese literature and helped me to pass this little task in my first tutorial~hee

But I have told her to tell me those詩詞and古文she's going to ask earlier next time. I guess I'm no so lucky every time and better have some preparation before hand.

Her grammar is good, just rather weak in expressing her ideas.

Try dictogloss with her(the passage is extracted from my sight-translation exercises on Vivieen Tam's interview la~kee), her performance was quite good.
She gave me a movie review for correction when she was finalizing her work. It was my first time to mark something like composition la, a bit nervous, I hope I didn't do badly~:p

Back home at around 6:00.
Sleep for nearly an hour!! Still feel very tired now.

I always thing today is Sat but sadly, I have lesson tomorrow morning.....=.=''

望住IPA symbols譯唔返d connected speech出黎，覺得好暈好暈(both mentally and physically)

早左15分鐘落堂，去ITSC print CBC notes.
順道check左ecology tutorial既成績，滿分滿分! ^^
(不過一望下其他人既分，84人有34個攞滿分(3/3)lor......=.='' 第二個grade係2.5/3，但已經below mean la(2.6/3)。呢個故事講明唔攞滿分等於被倒扣分.......oppos!)

CBC堂prof. wong講解得好清楚ga，但我間歇性恰下恰下，好唔乖………

Ecology Lab. I didn't feel like we were having lab.
Coz today we just kept push bb beans and one of us was blindfolded and pick up the beans randomly.
This is to stimulate the population distribution in nature with mobile organisms~hahaa

Got back my first lab report, full mark!!! Really happy about that.
But Lab 3 chief demonstrator then comment on our Lab report 3, I had committed almost all the mistakes he mentioned....sigh.
Gonna failed in that report la....It's worrying.

Amy, Maggie and Elco visited my hall. Elco and I had one more trail for the discussion record.
After that, Amy, Maggie and I worked on the CBC graded assignment which should be hand in on Mon. Thanks Amy and Maggie for teaching me! =]

Back to Emily's hostel and chatted for a while then back to hall lu.
Start revising at 12:00. So far so good la, I know I can't be able to finish all the notes(ppt) before the mid-term takes place.
All I can do at this stage is to go through those important parts and cover the remaining content as much as possible.
Just read the book, later will go to the notes la.
I do have some concepts clarified, which is good.

Will have meeting tomorrow morning and tutorial in the afternoon, add oil!!

Back to hostel at 10:00, so lucky that I still came across alice and panda~=]
Ecology lecture, so far so good la, just a bit tired.

Ecology follow-up lab. We still have 4 mother for 100000/mL and 1 for 300000/mL.
Although there were not many mothers, they produced a lot of babies!
There were 50 new born for 100000/mL lei!!:O

We waited for 15 minutes and on the white board, the concentration of algae was not shown. What was written on it was ‘No chlorella’
So Elco and I thought we should throw away the mother la.
No sooner had we pored all the things into the sink, I saw the demonstrator extracted some Chlorella and count the number!!
I ran to him and said whether we should continue the experiment or not. He said we could if our Monia had not died.
We told them that we had flown all the Monia into the sink....=.=''
He said it was okay to stop there wor, but I felt so sorry to my Monia la. My heart had been broken for 2 minutes~kee

Bio細Soc傾莊，因為唔夠人上wor，結果半逼下上左莊，不過都講清楚話開唔到太多會ga la，希望okay la~
一切都以學業為重。

天氣涼了很多，朋友仔記住着多件衫唔好冷親呀!

起身去1/F收衫，涼涼的風加上暖暖的陽光，感覺很舒服。如果沒有煙霞就更perfect了~=]

練笛去，d 震音既練習死晒—低音既易over-blow同埋大細聲唔明顯；高音既就好dim……><
幸好歌倒練得不錯，考試歌今日特別提住自己唔好再係staccato之後抖氣la。不過要將一d習慣成自然既野改左真係幾難，加油!)

執埋d野就去做lab，Monia還沒有死掉.......灰=.=''
300000/ml 尚餘一隻；100000/ml 還有6隻
不過仔仔的數量就少了很多。去左其他組既tray睇過，有d儘管有好多Monia既媽媽淨，但仔既數量都唔多(note:但媽媽個身份仲係好cubical同埋紅色ga wor)，點解呢? 可能係lab report值得諗下呢個問題。

跟maggie在med can食lunch，回宿攞左translation d notes就返學校lu。
HKU無6星期放一個星期假的system真的很令我很羨慕，幹嗎CU沒有啦?
我地sem2又開始得比佢地早，那些假期往那裡丟啦?!

跟ms cheung、ms hui同ms ting都談了一回兒。
Ms ting的立體mickey頭砌圖超可愛!唔同既擺位可以代表當日心情wor，really funny~kee

很想找tony sir ar，不過tony sir看來好像很累，還是別打擾好了。

很累，在小巴上跟alice一路講CE一路恰眼瞓了……
這一個月我不斷懷疑自己有沒有選錯科，有時候真的感到很吃力。成績與天份也比大部分的同學遜色，不過我依然想堅持，我也不知道為何會有這種想法。

很傻嗎?

讀中五的時候喊天天有test很辛苦、升了中六七覺得那些不外如是，那現在喊着大學很辛苦、怕畢不了業也正常吧!
呻着呻着又過了六個星期、完成了兩個lab reports和兩個mid-terms，回頭望過去應該會覺得沒想像中難過。
只是某一刻還覺得很辛苦，很想大叫!

也許過埋下星期一的CBC mid-term，生活會變得好起來了～:p
