How come I can sleep for so many hours a day?

Now, despite my sleepiness, I had better start revising econ and cell bio and finished reading the 'low b' website and start doing the ppt.
Ohoo! I still have genetics ppt unfinished!!:o

It has been nearly a year that I was asked the same thing, though with different people.
Time is different but my answer was the same as before.
Well, simply have no time to take care of that.

Today's assembly is 奧運馬術在香港 and our guest speaker was ex-AO—林煥光
His voice was passionate and his has a sense of humor.
I didn't doze off through out the whole assembly lei!

UGB, today's topic is quite interesting—complementary/ alternative treatment.

Finalize the materials and division of labour. Decide to use the thesis written by a CU ex-Ph. D as main source and a book to introduce what apoptosis is and a ' low b' website to do the introduction of embryonic development.
However, when we went down in search for that thesis, we couldn't find it!
We asked the counter for help, the librarian said there is only microfilm available.
What a bad news to us!!
But I was in a hurry to watch ballet with Amy, thanks 阿月for staying behind la.... She has been terribly busy these days.
Call amy but in vain; remember that she said she would stay in archi library, so walked down to CC la.
Perhaps we phoned each other at the same time so couldn't get the line connected. And mine was transferred to my home~hahaa

Finally met her at the pond road. Quick dinner at CC can and went to Shatin Town Hall.
I guess it has been at least 5 or 6 years since I last watched ballet performance.
It was an enjoyable time. ^^

P.S. Receive 阿月's sms at the University platform, saying that the microfilm was not good..... poor we…. What should we do?????

Back home, feeling so tired.
Perhaps I should still do some revision before going to bed....
How come I have soooo many work to do?! Seems unfinished....:(

Have to get up at 7:30 despite the ‘early’ sleep this morning......
So tired, but I have to do my task. Actually it is a simple one, just wrote about the 四院打機聯賽on the white board.
Then went to Med can to read the paper, it seems to be endless......

R&C, Prof. Sun teaches us.
He is really serious in teaching and teaches quite well. However, I realized that he never looked as us......:o

Cell biology, so difficult!
Many MPAK, MPAKK and MPAKKK, it is confusing!!!!!!!!><

Econ lesson, slept for the whole lesson, naughty ada!
Interpretation, revision of last lesson exercises, cancellation of next lesson coz Ms Wang, our instructor, has to attend the briefing session of jury.

Back to hostel and took 5 mins nap then have PE lesson la.
Today my performance was the reverse of last time.
Last time I suck in反手,今日打正手同反手都好準wor!! ^^
但開球就死左........
Is this a trade off??

Take a long nap after class, got up at 7:00PM.
No aptitude at all but still cook myself vermicelli to eat la.

Tonight is relatively relaxing, but after finishing this diary, I have to revise today's materials and search for info about cell boil. presentation la.

Go to bed late, at 4:30A.M., wanna die.....
I was not playing around or hea-ing, I have to do the transcription of Tue interpretation.
This time the time allowance is a bit tight, only 2 days, as I am having FEG O camp gathering tonight, that means I actually have 1 day to finish it.....sigh.

When I was nearly finish, I heard the morning birds singing.....=.=''
Luckily today's lesson starts at 10:30 jei.
But I felt sick. Don't know if I have eaten anything unclean yesterday night, I feel like to vomit in the morning and have diarrhea. So couldn’t concentrate in class.
But it seems to get well in the afternoon.

Genetics lab has finished but it doesn't mean that my afternoon is free.
Lunch with 阿月and his boyfriend.
Then genetics presentation preparation in ITSC.
Meet Prof. Jiang, academic adviser of 靜宜and mine. He is really nice.
Talk to us for nearly an hour! (usually just for 5 mins or so ja ma)
He gave valuable advice to us.
And I never thought that I would told him that I have applied for transfer.
Most of the time it was him to share with us, and I really learnt a lot for him!
He also praised Angus and asked whether we knew him or not, of course I do!
He is my組爸ma~:p

Hand in my course selection form la.
No regret, chose Human Biol stream la.
Although year 2 sem 1 will be really HARSH, 16 major credits, I will try my best to deal with it!

After that, continue with genetics presentation.
Have a long paper to read....

Join Ho yin to MK to buy the table-stand-clips as souvenirs of annual dinner, actually we have bought 60 last week but we need to have 20 more.
We bought ALL the clips in the shop la~hahaaa

Join others in Amoy, sing K.
It has been a year since I last sang K la.

Feeling so insecure about econ, actually I have went through all the stuff at least once, for some it was twice, but still don’t have a concrete memory....
Unwilling to get up in the morning, but was still on time for classes.
Didn’t doze off (rarely happen yor~) but day-dreamed for the last ppt slide.

Interpretation lesson, I am much focusing today.
However, still missed some of the content when doing interpretation.

Have quick lunch@ NA Can then go up to give blood lu.
Come across 黃恆之there, it was his first time to give blood lei.
Only give 350cc today coz the nurse my blood vessel is quite small (as I have not drunk enough water this morning)
But the whole process only took me about 45 mins, nice!
The staff said, these days the no. of ppl donating blood was few.
Even last Thursday at Sci Center reading one, a place which used to be most crowded, got few ppl.
Perhaps it's due to the flu la. Many people got sick.
Got a cup for souvenir this time, it's quite beautiful ga!

Although I was told NOT to do vigorous ex. of my right hand, I attend PE lesson as usual~:P
Luckily, my performance was not much affected by that.
Still suck in 反手....:O
But we are going to have the examination conducted NEXT WEEK!!!!><
No time for practice....

Too tired after giving blood plus energy cosuming tennis lesson
Take a nap after going back to hostel.
Time to revise econ for the last time before the quiz tonight!

Finish the quiz la. The questions were not difficult, but I don't know how the explain them. You know the principles behind; just have difficulties in expressing it in words....
Therefore, I don't know whether I performed well in it or not, just hope it will not be too unsatisfactory.

So hungry, went to 女工and ate a chicken leg and 腸粉.
Then went to ITSC to have the lecture notes, lab results and lab manual print.
Yea, lab manual, I print them out after finishing all the labs~:p

Very sleepy now, but have many works to do, so had better act quickly so that I can sleep early la!

Once again I am skipping diary.....I hate this as I would like to record my precious moments down but I just can't afford the time.



The alarm rang at 8:45 but I switched it off and I woke up in a sudden half an hour later.

Having risk of being late to church, I speeded up.

Grasping the tutorial materials I prepared and the notes into the file and left home, no breakfast for today la.



Arrive on time, it was 9:50 when I got there but nobody was in the 'teenager' area. :o

Have so many reflections in today's sermon.

'Back to the Bible' is what I should remember in mind.



Doze off in Sunday school. I have good attendance record but mentally presence record is definitely not good (if this could be officially recorded)

Quick lunch at '飯堂'



New songs for today, 4 parts division. And I like In the cross so much. The harmony is nicely arranged! ^^



Have sore throat after tutorial again.

Somehow I think I am not a good tutor for CE.

Frankly, I don't think I can help her to score high marks in Biology; if it turns out she can score a B or above, it would all credits to her own efforts.

I neither teach him the exam skills nor tips the topic, it is too difficult for me.

煲返熱d湯飲做早餐同午餐，補習去。

不過auntie很好，話我上左去就補wor，等思溢食埋午餐就補喇，補左一個鐘。
今日又有新搞作，我d感興又黎喇~:p
今日玩brain storming,主題係復活節，佢講一個我講一個咁輪住黎，跟住用呢ｄ資料去作文。
作文對佢黎講固然難左dd，所以都係我作一句佢作一句咁，暫時個效果不錯，但未作完，都係睇定ｄ先算。



去浩然屋企，因為得一個鐘，返屋企的話一陣又要出過門口。
温左一個chapter econ ga，但温完好似唔多記得ｄ野咁，我唔想又畀人屈我機呀！！！><

開會，但台灣選情既即時報道更吸引，一有直播我地就會停一停睇左先~kee
講左annual dinner o個part我又發白日夢lu，基本上唔係好跟到個flow，唔知有冇畀人發現呢？:P

食飯，勞煩auntie la。
好好味哩~ ^^
跟住去左學整椰汁糕，得閒係宿同屋企都可以試試。

食完之後地樽, Yuwa, vivian同bug攻打四方城，我同fung, 浩然就「庇護」。
後來vivian過左黎幫手，同fung shift，好快就整晒70個「浮雕」書籤啦，叻叻！=]
之後包埋呼拉圈（用黎做dreamcatcher），金色既製成品好靚呢！

間中入左去睇下阿祈同樹蛙plan去英法既野，year 1就可以去歐洲，好令人羨慕呢！！
我都好想去，不過都係努力儲錢grad時去玩一個月吧!

地樽打打下有auntie做軍師，肯定好勁~kakaaa
之後佢入左去玩msn，好low b 呀，一路打字一路會讀返ｄ內容出黎ga，仲要勁大聲係度笑，唔知佢係咪平時壓力太大呢? Kakaaaa

12:00先返到屋企，我決心一定要沖左涼先瞓，所以好有效率擺低晒d野就去沖，唔開電腦就入房揀補習要印的exercises~哈哈
好乖哩。

又講左好耐電話tim，我唔想爆分鐘a，要保持良好記錄。

Starting from mid-Feb, I have been constantly skipping diary.
I really love typing diary, coz it helps the storage of memory in a good way. However, these months I was either too busy or too tired to record my memory.....

A little break for today, so I decide to have as many entries typed as possible.

Go to bed at 3:30....So late!
Thanks to that troublesome lab ws la. But when I went to bed, it was still not finished...:o
Get up at 9:00AM, nice sleep, didn't feel too tired.
Go to CC輔導處to hand in the course selection form as well as some supporting documents for summer study at UCLA.

None of the words said by Dianne姐go into my ears. Coz I was busy doing the lab WS. Interpretation of the banding is really really difficult!
Sometimes you just don't know why a band lies there.
Victor 好勁呀!放break時揾左Hogan上黎!!
I have to thx Mike as well, thanks for giving me the idea to do the WS~=]

After class, go to ITSC refreshment area to continue the lab WS and later went through the pre-lab talk once.

Don’t know if this would be my 2nd last time to be in a science laboratory doing experiment; if I could transfer to HKU, I would definitely miss my lab time with my lab mates and friends and of course my dearest funny demtor—Hogan la!!

Pretty nervous last night, got insomnia!!
Girls' talk with roommates on the bed, feel so great~=]

Get up at 8:00PM in the morning, do some make-up then go out lu.
Meet so many people in ITSC, 大頭, amy, 月, Elco, all of us went there to print notes.
So trouble to have a dark background of PDF format ppt. Even 大頭 is so smart that she change the bg color to white one, when we print it out, it is still in black….><
The greatest disadvantage is that dark background can’t write notes on it!!

A bit late for Lawrance’s first lesson. He provides the notes for us actually....=.=''
Leave during the break, I guess I have miss a lot of things la….
(P.S. Maggie told me later that he taught many ‘new’ things that only published in journals.... Can't find it in text book....><)

Find Prince Philip Dental Hospital at 12:45PM, can go for lunch lu~hee
The price index in Hong Kong Island is really higher, it cost me $30 for lunch lei!
I can have 3 頹飯in CU already!!

Arrive the 5/F at 1:30PM, the reception and counter were closed….
No staff was there....So strange!
See a middle-aged man walked pass, ask him for help. He has no idea as well but told us to wait there.
A girl who was in the same lift with me. I had thought that she might me one of the interviewees as well, but I didn’t have the courage to start the conversation.
She walked towards us and so I asked whether she was going to have interview as well.

Then the conversation starts.
I asked which subject she was taking, she said, ‘Biology’
I followed, ‘where?’
She answered, ‘CU’
I was so excited, 'me too!! I am year 1'
We went to the wash room and I suddenly realized who she was.
'You’re Kapo!' that's what I shouted out.
She was surprised and said, ‘Don't tell me that you're (from) CC Biol.’
I said, 'No, I am.' :p

It’s such a small world!

Actually not until CC photo day did we, year 1 CC students, got to know her.
So I just 'know' her for about 2 weeks.
Chatted a lot!
She has a similar background as I do—want to enter Speech and Hearing Sciences so much but failed in JUPAS system.
She tried to apply through non-JUPAS system when she was year 1 but at that time she was not given the chance for having an interview.
And now when she is going to graduate, she tried again.

Well, I think she's really brave! If I were her, I wontt try again after getting my first degree in Biology.
I just cantt afford to spend 7 years to enter the career I like. It's too costly to me.
I would rather use 5 years to get a degree in master and be a civil servant or whatever.
I sincerely hope that she can be admitted, you know, after three-year-time in biology, she still insists, how passionate she is!
I really appreciate that.=]

It's the interview time.
It was a bit too 'relaxing' ....=.=''
Only 2 questions were asked. One is the reason of choosing S&H, another is about what PBL is.
There are 8 candidates for the non-JUPAS session, all of us are female! Hahaaa

All the applicants are sooooooo 勁!
Two of them are matured students with master degree already!!:o
One of them has a son already, her first degree was from CUBA; and master from Tokyo University, then have worked in commercial sector for >15 years!
Another got her degree and master in overseas university.

2 girls are now studying in international school, of course, their oral Have high proficiency in English la. One even from Lee Po Chun United College lei!!Wow~~

The interview only last for < 30mins, then it was a tour of S&H department.
小風was there as well.
When we transit to the library in 6/F, other applicants from EAS were waiting outside.
There are 5 boys and 2 girls, very different M:F ratio.

If you ask whether I will be admitted or not, I would say probably not. 99% sure la.
It doesn’t mean that I have no confidence in myself, but I have to face the colour.
It is not only the problem of my relatively uncompetitive GPA but also the government funding.
If HKU accept me, she has to pay for me as the funding for me from the government had already given to CU when I was admitted in Sept last year.
Never mind la, I guess I would be interested in anatomy in Human Biol. Stream.
有幾多人呢一世試過解剖屍體呢?

When I back to CU, it was already 6:30PM. They have just finish lab session. When I arrived 295, Sally, one of the demtors, said I dressed so 斯文~hahaaa
Yes, in lab, no one would dress like that la. So it's a rare dressing code for a sci. student in lab.
She knew Kapo was applying S&H as well!
