Originally planned to do revision last night, it turned out with no surprise that I went to bed directly.... LAZY ada!!><
Get up at 9:00 this morning and practise flute. I was in quite a good mood but didn't practise for a long time.
I was too tired. Both mentally and physically, there has been lots of things bothering me this months. Took a nap.
Tutorial with思溢, his mum request for more oral practice; I can understand that but it's difficult, he is a good boy but just not quite good in presenting himself or imaginative enough.
Don't know if I am able to help him, just try my best and admit my inability when I really can't do the job well~:p

Flute lesson, Wong sir was late la.
My performance sucks!><
It is of course due to in lack of practice, how dare me to practise for only 3 times in 2 weeks??!!

Mum go to her Tai Chi friend's daughter's wedding banquet tonight, leaving father and I at home.
Dad suggested having Japanese food. We then went to Ha-Ne SUSHI to have our dinner.
Not extremely delicious, but acceptable la. And its price is cheaper then 元綠la.
Chat on phone for quite a long time, ada should be doing revision ma…. Soooo naughty!
When I finally started my revision in the 'morning' (1:00AM....=.=''), I dozed off soon after flipping through a few pages.... :(

I don't like myself la.... Not being a good girl lei!!

Go to bad late again!
I don't know why the washing machines were always being occupied even during mid-night!
I went down 3 times but every time there is not a vacant!><
Finally have my clothes put into the machine at 2 :XX A.M.....

Too tired in Genetics to understand what was going on. Didn't have the mid-term paper returned as Prof. Guo had promised before.
But better have the paper forgotten; I don't wanna know the truth.

Assembly, this time we have the secretary of Environment Bureau, Edward Yau, to be the guest speaker talking about the environmental problems in Hong Kong.
He looks really young, probably at his late 30s. But it seems impossible for a AO in such a young age to be a the secretary of a bureau.

Today's session is about pharmacology, luckily we need not memorize the structure of medicines, just their types and category is okay.

Finsih the lecture a bit earlier, arrive at 影常home on time.
PTH, really not an expert in it, but I guess my level is good enough to teach a P.1 student.
And just hope that she likes me.

Back home, dad is the cook tonight coz mum was not here.
Working on FEG donation form and reply letter, I don't have any inspiration ar!!

早左少少瞓，九半起身，有八個鐘呢!好耐未試過啦。

上Dianne姐堂，第一堂完全跟唔到....... :o
第二堂聽左上堂半，中七野；下半堂，我又恰着左........灰!

Lab in the afternoon, Hogan didn't come today (he has his PHT exam today lei! P.S. Every PHT year 1 student has to pass an oral presentation on their research focus in order to promote), miss him!!!
Persuading amy to choose Human Biology stream, so that I have her to accompany me~hee

Finish the lab at 5:00PM. Then back to hostel and go shopping with alice~hee
I have been looking forward to it for a month!!

Stroll around in MongKok, spent soooo many $$$$.
I won't buy any clothes before leaving HK for the US la.
Buy 2 shirts, a dress and a pair of shoes, satisfied~=]

Buy a bottle of眼藥水as well, sooooo expensive!!!
But my eyes feel really dry these day and no tears to moisture it lei!

Back to hostel at 11:00P.M.
Nice day with alice.
Starting from tomorrow I have to work hard on my tight schedule today. A day of break is not enough but better than none la.

Go to Registration and Examination website to check my exam timetable.

Even worse than F.7 mock exam! Sigh~~

Long time haven't type my diary are, these days has be

Today my day is occupied by different meetings!!><
And I is foreseeable that the whole week would be the same.....Sigh~

Get up at 7:30AM this morning, my right arm is still painful, even a light touch hurts!!:o
A bit late for 8:30PM econ, but not yet started new topics. Try my very best to concentrate in class, did success in first lesson, went though F.6 Ms Wong's s notes on price searcher as well.
Find that the syllabus I currently learning was much simpler than AL one.
But dozed off during the 2nd lesson, sucks!!><

Rush to NA to have interpretation lesson
Today we have classwork 2, it was an address by the former chief executive, Tung Chi-wah, on HKUST 10th Anniversary Ceremony.
It was easier than expected. But I still missed some sentences as they are too long.
Should have more training on my short term memory la!!

Lunch meeting at Franklin to discuss Cell bio presentation topic.
We chose HIV and Apoptosis, hope this would be fine and info are abundant!

Took a 20 minutes nap before having PE lesson.
My arm is still okay after taking PE, great.

Visit U clinic after PE. Come across 阿方& B哥哥there, they were taking the influenza injection. What a coincidence!!

Doctor Kong said I was okay, just being infected with 上呼吸道病。
Got the transcription and back to hostel.
Cook myself vermicelli as dinner and pick it to Reading room to have CC Bio meeting. It was the evaluation of photo day and 送舊。

After taking the pills, feeling dizzy now. I think I should sleep early tonight la.

琴晚凌晨五點右手手臂痛到醒左!真係痛到忍唔到.........
去左擦按摩膏，但一個鐘都無用，結果貼左兩塊撒龍巴斯先瞓多1個鐘多d.......

都唔明點解會手臂痛到咁.........
明明係用腳跑長洲haunt ga ma，有乜理由腳一d事都無反而係手痛成咁?!
掂一掂都唔得lei!><

上堂，因為print pre-lab talks的緣故遲了點上課，剛開始新topic，專心上堂ga，不過好似不太digest到。
Streaming briefing session，human bio的physio prof.講出路時第七項令我地捧腹大笑! :p
佢寫住7. Getting married
連CK Wong同Prof. Kwan都忍唔住~kakaaa

Lunch meeting cancel but still have carry-away lunch at reading room as Med can was full.
Eventually talks a bit about CC Bio birthday party.

My group was SUPERSLOW, the pipettement got some problem!!><
And making the calibration of 1ml/mins and n/drops=0.7-0.8ml takes lots of time.....

We have to make in total 170 samples!!! 170!!!
Wait for a long long time......
Serious headaches attack so took a nap during the waiting time. But not feeling better even after the rest.
Don't know why my group lags behind that much.....We were the last group to leave the lab, thanks Sally and other demtors who accompanied us la.
Leave at 7:15PM, so hungry.....

Research & Communication result has been released, quite good la.
Year 3 stuents屈晒我地機lor，都唔明做乜走黎同我地ｄyear 1爭.........
Let it be la, it contains only 1 credit, if we perform better in PE, the loss can be compensated la.

Go to Parkn' Shop to buy my breakfast, then dinner at Snack Bar with Feli and Alice Yung. Nice chat~=]

When I arrive hostel and switch on my laptop, my 'sons & daughters' have added me la!!
So happy~=]
Chit-chat for quite a long time and of course, browsing through our o camp photos.
Yuwa is SUPER-EFFICIENT!!!
Within a day, he uploaded all photos to our federation homepage, set up xanga and facebook blogring and group respectively, big applause to him!!! ^^

Bad news from Ho yin that we would have meeting to discuss annual dinner stuffs from Tue to Thur; of course I couldn’t afford the time la.
And I grambled~XD
My bargaining power was a bit stronger so I successfully fight for having meeting on Thursday only~kee
But it has to be longer la, I think that’s okay to me.
Don't wanna call out the shopping with alice which schedule on Wed night. I am a bit stress out these days and after weeks of hard work, for both mid-terms and O camp, I do think I deserve a break.
And indeed, I really need one.

Did some revision on Econ at night, but soon I felt very tired and went to bed lu~:p

琴晚九點開始做lab report，做到今朝5:45am!!!
第一次因為做功課而真真正正通頂了…………..
四點幾時聽到d雀仔聲但自己仲未做完心情真係跌至谷底!Argh~~~

其實琴晚到凌晨唔只我一個在於lab report糾纏gei，bio同學仔既msn title都相當精彩：
阿月: 我一定識做
Feli: make friend with lab report
Charles: 殘忍
Amy: 捱多一日就一天都光晒啦!!!!

今次的report真的爆難，看了很多paper、無數咁多reference、search n咁多次，工作列出現十多個網站，citation因為加左野改了又改........
在5:45終於放棄了，躺在牀上稍作休息。十五分鐘唔夠就聽到媽媽起身的聲音了，好在早佢少少入返睡房ja，如果唔係又畀人話lu。
手機響，無意識地「禁」熄左佢，一醒來已是八半!!!! Oooooooooo
約了june june九點係九龍塘等幫手攞「炮」tim (photo day d紙炮)!
即刻打了個電話過去，留言tim……
今日好多野攞ar，又唔知星期五駛唔駛入camp wor，於是又要攞埋d衫去，重死!

最終9:15先到九龍塘，要june等，很對不起!!
佢一個女仔攞住十五支大size的紙炮(有我雙腳咁高ga!!)，真係辛苦晒。
係沙田站Victor上左我地卡車，真巧，咁就有壯丁幫手喇~hahaaa

很不情願的情況下走了親愛的cell bio 堂........
但為左要做埋lab report 淨返o個條lor，頭很痛，很辛苦，十二點總算完成，終於鬆一口氣。
但我到做完o個刻為止都唔太知個lab搞乜，真係唔適合讀science lei!

想小睡片刻，但頭痛到瞓唔到，又唔想咁小事就食panador，唯有忍。代價係無得瞓lor……不過閉目養神也好多了。

Skip 了lunch，2:00去到ITSC print lab report同pre-lab talk & lab ws (demtor凌晨先upload上網........=.='')
做lab，才點名的時候發現laptop留左係ITSC!!!!!!!:O
嚇死左，問demtor畀我去攞，極速由Sci center 跑過去，咳到到丫……
但幸好laptop仍安然無安恙待在那兒…..phew~

今天lab的procedures’ nature很hea，但時間要捉得很緊，step與step之間唔可以有time lag，要即刻進行，好刺激。
很多組因為一個sample出了問題，整set也要重來了，我地都係........sigh

5:00去了隔離房聽stipend scheme，Prof. Chiu第一句就話：「你地揀得入黎呢個scheme，either 高考有2個B，一係就上個sem GPA 3.5以上，其他d同學入唔到係因為是但一樣野有defects……」
我兩樣requirement都fulfill唔到wor……:o
我覺得將會很吃力，但呢個係個好機會去試一試gei。
聽左咁多個prof. 既specialize，其實都唔多有興趣，會諗下Dr. Kwan 既lab又或者Dianne姐都唔錯，ecology雖然好吸引，不過要invest好多時間而呢樣正正係我最缺乏既!

Overrun左呀，lab d人走晒，多謝amy、Feli等埋我地，名符其實既plagiarism，copy and paste d data落lab WS就交了。
9秒9衝落CC去Summer exchange briefing，我去到已經6:45，個talk suppose係7:00完的.......=.=''
不過overrun，聽到7:45，早走，要開會lei!

要浩然等，不好意思啦。
行緊去City時同地樽相遇，真好~^^
好肚餓呀，沒吃午餐哩!

City canteen的兩餸飯很有問題，首先姐姐騙了我說豆腐不辣啦(雖然是很微的辣……)，然後是它有變壞了一點的味道……

開會講o camp，很佩服大家的效率，辛苦晒!
Eting brief soci games時我不停恰眼瞓，很對不起大家lei!

12:00才點到宿，早瞓的大計又泡湯了!!!><
頭仍是很痛……

Some surprises are good while others are not.
And I experienced both today....

Study until 4:00AM this morning, the latest in 19 years.
I find it is very interesting about the book content, and I didn't feel tired when it was approaching 4:00AM.
It's like doing revision during the first month of F.6. So interesting and I like it so much.

Despite the enjoyable revision process, the mid-term was not....
So low b for the paper which consists >90 marks but only 60minutes were given us to answer it!!><
When Dianne姐 said , 'You have 5 minutes left.'
And our response was so united, '下?!'
I was doing the 2nd long Q.(there are in total 4Qs) when she announced that.... Sucks!!><

我有17分空左無時間做lor!!係17分，17分呀!!!!!!
多得佢唔少....由細到大都未試過差咁多無做ga。
唔識都話抵死丫，而家係識而唔夠時間做先dum心!!><

原本諗住考完返宿瞓ga ma，點知要做莊務，被騙話好快搞掂(印信ja ma)，點知搞左我2個鐘，仲慘過去assembly......><
完全性地灰了.....
事緣下星期CC photo day，我地要出invitation letter畀professors同instructors，信就好快印晒，但要寫信封。
因為就咁寫d字太醜既關係，用水筆寫美術字（中二A&D堂Ms Au教既野用得着or!! ^^），寫到我丫……

不過都要多謝阿June，因為佢都好多野做，仲要聽我係咁dum地講17分既事~:p

When I was on my way to the University station, Maggie called me.
She said a lady from Bio dept. called her and asked whether she had checked the mail box this morning.
She was scared and didn't know what had happen. I was worried when she told me that as well!
She mentioned my name, Charles, 阿月and other classmates who we know well.
'Is there any thing wrong with our discipline or hw?' was the first thing that came to my mind.
Luckily it was not. It should be that we were admitted to a scheme but we don't know what that is.

Come across Charles when near the station entrance. I was still talking with Maggie on phone and he heard that I mentioned his name~kee
It was my turn to get the call form the dept. when I was on the MTR. Just know that it was something that's not bad.

Today guest speaker is 葉穎詩.
She looks really young and doesn't seem to have a 18-year-old-son!
The talk and questions asked by participants are of good quality. Enjoy it so much.
A pity is that during her talk, she said she was graduated from MSC and asked was there any students from MSC as well.
Fung and I raised our hands immediately but she didn't notice. Even Jenny and Jo Ling point to our side ga, but never mind la~:p

Wait for Jenny and her students for dinner, sooooooooooo hungry!
Finally settled down in a restaurant. Meet new friends~hee

Back home at 12:00, finally can have a good sleep tonight! =]
Check the mail box immediately and read that mail.
In the mail it said 12 of us was selected to the ‘Advanced Training & Stipend Scheme’
Other names on the list were all brilliant students except me.
Their GPA of semester 1 were all >3.5 but I only got 3.29 ja wor....
And I know Johnny and Christen whose GPA were 3.5X and 3.6X respectively, don't understand why I instead of they was being picked.
But I guess I am really blessed and lucky one, thanks God.

組爸explain the scheme to me. It was being a student helper in lab and can receive $50/hour, the max. is $1,0000.
The money of course is a bonus, the opportunity is so valuable!!!
And 組爸was in the scheme before, in his time, there were only 4-5 students being selected; now it's 12! You see how lucky I am!

I am going to UCLA this summer!!!!!
Really anticipating!!!! ^^

Last night due to serious headache and the chapter about ER, golgi and secretory vesicles are toooooooooooooooooooooooo long and have some many points, terms, pathways to memorize, I just skipped them and went to Perisome and Lysomes directly.
Finally went to bed at 2:30AM, earliest in the past week.

Attend Research & Communication lesson.
Few people there, probably due to the mid-term next lesson. And for those who are present, including me, most of us were not listening to Ice, instead we flipped through cell bio notes~:p
Mid-term starts, 50 minutes seems such a short period of time.
The MC and True or False questions are very difficult and tricky!
And I don’t like the policy that 答錯倒扣分.......><

The section of compare and contrast was okay. Thanks to Luk sir and Missy intensive training for that la.
We have to compare and contrast between simple diffusion and facilitated diffusion, transition vesicles and secretary vesicles, autophagy and autolysis.
Not very certain about the autophagy as I went through it very very roughly.
The short-essay are not difficult but I don't know how to do it.
Forgot the 'tag'of lysosome, only remember it is 'mannose-6-XXX' and I insert the XXX with phosphase which I quite sure that it is WRONG...

Follow-up lab.
Hogan(my demtor) said the spreading for the control (LB) was good!kee
It was done by me~heeheee

Econ lesson, don't know what Fred was talking about, I was totally exhausted, both mentally and physically....

Miss some of the conversations, I guess it is due to my tiredness.

PE lesson. It.s tiring.
We have non-stop practice on 擊球、同對網練. Did quite well in發球but 猜波 sucks....
Back to NA to get my USB, coz I had left it in the Tra lab. Thanks for the technician for opening the door for me.

Browsing through the Internet to take a rest.

Temperature drops a lot and I felt very cold after sun set. Waiting outside 新宿 for Dr. Chung ,who kindly help us take the 波波橋(for photo day next week) ,is freezy.
Hope I won't catch a cold!!

Dinner@Snack Bar, come across Ling and Windy, they went to ULib to study lei.
I have to start my revision as well, can't afford to screw Genetics up again after Cell Bio waterloo!

It has been YEARSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS not touching my diary....
Terribly busy these days.
Have been going to bed at 3:00AM for FOUR consecutive days!!!!! Wanaa kill myself!

And I believe I can't have proper sleep until next Mon when 2 long lab reports are handed in....
How can I still survive??!!
And the two major mid-terms in coming Thur and Fri, just wanna die and escape form all the stuff!!!><

My body tells me that ada is not feeling well, just some headaches visit constantly and my brain 'hang' frequently. But I guess under presser on mid-terms and reports deadline,the increased adrenaline level and cortisol can help me pass through the coming days.
I hope what I learn is true la.

Weather is getting cold again, do take care, my friends~=]

Did go through a few pages of the ref. book, just don’t find it useful.

Today's genetics lecture is for final revision, but I still doze off....><
I really want to kill myself la!!

Lunch at snack bar then went to ITSC to do my essay la.
Star dozing off when approaching to 2:00 PM, but I’m doing well today la, didn't sleep instead I try to finish the draft of it and then type my diar~:p

First time to have lesson at Room 127, I like genetics tutorial more then lecture la. But still happen to doze off some times~:p

Go back to hostel and start doing the game proposal, simply don't have much idea of typing what we have discussed yesterday.
Should work hard later.

Time to have dinner with Ivy, first time lei!! ^^
Ada should work hard in the coming days, perhaps play hard time will come in early March~hee
