provide guidelines to the workmates about the new proceduces - shipment sample photo record and file system.
came out with Gary for the electric bill issue at morning. returned at 1100.
received message from ka wai request for ethylene. have some discussion related to business planning as well.
gotta invest total of 80K to the company.
received call from hung about the business of my own as well. Will establish the project in coming June.
take a walk with wei wei around the town then join the dinner with workmates.
send wei wei back after the dinner and rest early.
chat with gary about the sniper reflie.

Valentine's day.
came to kwong hui for inspection this morning.
During inspection, by 1030, received call from wei wei that suprise about my special 99 roses to her.
after the inspection, rush back to HK for wei wei's special gift. the ear rings.
returned to factory at 1530.
after work, came to have bath first.
enjoy a wonderful night with wei wei and have dinner at hotel.
wei wei was so suprised when she got my gift. ha ha.
returned early (cause asleep after a full meal.) kiss and say goodbye to wei wei.
Romantic need money, however, worth for it.
Cost break down:
0. 1 rose at eve - RMB 8
1. 99 roses - RMB 500
2. ear ring - HKD 488
3. dinner at hotel - RMB 340
4. travel - RMB 40
5. travel to HK - RMB 10 + HKD 18.8 + HKD 18.8 + RMB 25 = RMB 72.6
Total RMB 1448.6
Worth for it - money don't value everything, but it's nice to give the one you love a big suprise.

monday, a asleep day.
as without any motivation, so I need to sleep for a while.
after one day work, walk hand in hand with wei wei and return early.
came with rendy to get some chinese pizza.
called wei wei and send her a rose on rendy's ride.
sleep early tonight.

As I made appointment with wei wei at 1000, so wake up at 0800.
Play game for a while then came to sz to pick up wei wei.
Wei wei finally arrive at sz by 1030. As Gary's mobile switched off, so we walk hand in hand to "east door" for his home.
look around and found the price of flat is around 1K - 1.6K per sq. feet. cost about 450K-500K on avg.
Time to save as much as you can, Ton.
as Gary finally haven't turn up because of sickness, so returned early and have some food with wei wei. A wonderful night with wei wei.
Today is chinese valentine's day, of course, I haven't told wei wei my special plan.
Rest early for the long week coming.

Sat, day without any motivation.
after a long day work, returned to HK in a hurry with Thomas and Gary.
called wei wei before back to HK.
get to Sheung Shui to join classmate in F.7 at 1830.
a nice party off wong ka wing's home with BBQ and old classmates.
chat with classmate, everyone have individual stories.
hin's gf arrived as well. chat with her for a while.
Tom arrived late. both of us seems have enough for our job, anyway time to push up.
Called Spider and found that she is working at the moment (part time). So leave her a message using Tom's mobile.
Question: Will Tom have a chance to develop with Spider !?
Wait and see.
returned home by 0100, sleep after bath.

day of find new job.
wrote an email to boss about the move of department issue.
take some research off the www.jobmarket.com.hk
complete my resume and pass ka wai a job for him to apply.
nothing special at afternoon.
walk hand in hand with wei wei around the town. (really a long trip tonight).
afterward, have some drink and send her back early.
rest on time.

day of inspection - 8 out of 10 items passed.
another 2 workmate in my department resign again. under storm of resign at the moment.
feel so sick today.
carry on replying the email to HK with respect to new QC room.
went outside with Gary at afternoon.
received the mail from hong about the business planning, time to go ahead, ton.
play the fireworks with rendy and gary to "boom" the dogs.
walked hand in hand with wei wei around the town.
called thomas just before sleep and learned that they are having dinner with some ex-workmate. Asked wei wei if she came, but wei wei just said she don't. So leave it.
returned and have some food from Gary.
Thomas and Rendy returned and talked about the pretty girl they met during the meeting.
sleep early and message wei wei at midnight.
wei wei is the best.

Tue a sick day.
morning complete the memo writing to my head with respect to the department stuff.
walk around the factory to check the workmate's duties.
asleep at the afternoon.
factory's worker stopped working at the afternoon.
so sick today.
meet wei wei after work, came to town center and talk a walk.
learned a sad news - wei wei's friend miss zhou got blood cancer and within this year must get the bone narrow for replacement.
best wish for her.
returned after shopping with wei wei and rest early.

2 QC and 1 workmate in cleaning department resigned today.
a time to re-develop the department.
meet wei wei after work (by 2030). walk with her around the town and rest early today because feel sick.
we have some spicy duck before go outside. too hot result in I feel really sick.

Monday, a day without much motivation.
asked john to send me his CV for revise.
started to write memo to workmate again.
came with gary to qing xi, get some flower for wei wei at 14th Feb. It costs quite a lot but it's alright.
return to factory and keep on working, in fact, writing a reply email to my head with Gary.
meet wei wei at 2030, walk hand in hand with her around the town then send back to factory.

按黎生20-01-2006電郵已經清楚寫出品檢理應由品檢 Dept.負責的.
同時他亦清楚寫出"所以我本部只提供Spec.給QC Dept.用作對產品的品質進行檢查",
即是黎生承認其部門(研發部)有責任向品檢部提供產品之生產要求("Spec"), 例如尺寸,
表面處理等.
品檢部本身並沒有任何專業資格, 知識及權力去為產品訂立標準, 因為本部工作是按照"Spec"上陳列各項對產品進行逐一檢驗,
然後按"Spec"上要求將貨物評定為合格/不合格.

雖然本人之前於研發部工作時間不及黎生豐富,
可是以本人理解Research and Development Department之工作是包括:
1. 對所有產品進行開發及製作樣辦
2. 在開發過程中對產品訂立各項標準如:
2.1 產品用料
2.2 成品尺寸
2.3 表面處理要求
2.4 工藝流程及生產技術
2.5 產品生產用料消耗
2.6 產品生產成本
2.7 產品包裝方法
2.8 產品安全性

以上各項均應由研發部在開發及製作樣辦給客人至量產過程中一一訂立.
研發部亦同時應該得到及發放各項最新資料修改, 因所有生產技術應由研發部統一協調開發.
因為品檢部的品質標準是來自研發部開發產品時訂立的, 所以品檢部本身是無法訂立任何品質標準"Specification".
而研發部亦兼任改善工藝流程/解決生產技術/解決量產時面對之各項問題之責任.

例如生產部發現油墨脫落, 研發部應該提供解決方案並要求生產部按方案改善生產問題.
而品檢部則可以協助反映其方案能否改善油墨脫落之問題.
任何因生產技術未成熟而出現之不良品問題,
研發部有責任在開發解決方案過程中通知生產部及品檢部可接受之產品不良程度, 及盡快提供解決方案以期減少損失.
而非由生產部及品檢部自行協商後對產品標準訂立修改方案.
一則研發部無法確認/得悉所有生產上需要更正/改善的問題而無法履行其工作責任.
二則研發部之標準與實際生產之標準出現差異, 引致出現生產問題或客戶投訴時無從跟進.

基於以上各項本人認為由研發部方面提供產品標準及品檢標準更能合乎實際情況及統一各產品之品質要求(並非由A廠/B廠各自獨立向品檢部自行提出).
再者研發部同事身為工程師, 應該對產品各項資料及技術暸如指掌, 加上研發部之工程師同事平均工資遠高於其他部門人員.
故此在考慮成本效益前提下是否應該要求研發部方面對其人力資源更妥為安排?

品檢部是十分願意與研發部和生產部方面携手改善公司產品的品質.
可是在新產品的開發過程中, 本部曾多次要求研發部方面提供產品的樣辦/配件以及Test
Plan / Specification供本部及生產部安排生產時參考.
遺憾的是研發部幾乎每次都是借故推搪然後不了了之. 直至品檢部多次發現及反映其生產之樣辦根本無法接受後, 在香港公司指示研發部重新按程序製作樣辦及提供Test Plan等資料, 有
關情況才稍作改善.
試問品檢部連Specification / Test Plan 都沒有的情況下如何在開料/壓形時對半成品的尺寸規格進行檢驗?
試問在沒有磨光表面處理參考標準(Test Plan / 實物樣辦)的情況下如何安排磨光後品檢同事檢驗磨光後半成品?
試問在沒有實物樣辦的情況下如何要求包裝部品檢同事對貨物包裝/裝配進行品檢工作?
令人培感氣餒的是, 每當本人向研發部要求履行其工作範圍的義務時, 例如提供貨物淨重/毛重(N.W./G.W.)資料, 黎生竟然表示研發部只負責製作樣辦, 在客戶確認樣辦後一切事宜皆應為生產部
負責, 其部門亦無需再作任何跟進.
本人對此想法實在不敢苟同. 如按黎生說法, 則研發部是否應該改名為樣辦部?

若果黎生表示對本公司之產品認識不足夠而未能進行其改善生產技術/提供解決生產問題方案之責任,
則是否應考慮由05年8月起至今接近半年時間可算是一段十分充裕的"磨合期".
加上黎生本人的相關工作經驗應該使其有足夠的能力作出適應及協調各生產部門去共同解決生產方面面對之問題及了解公司的工作流程.
至於如因資源不足而無法有效履行其職責則從過去多月以來可見其他部門同事均已經在為研發部暫時履行其職責.
本人亦十分明白黎生現時工作量日見繁重, 而人手亦見緊拙及不穩定. 但試問本廠那一個部門不是面對同樣的難題呢?

綜合以上各項, 本人認為研發部現時工作並未履行其應負之職能, 反將工作推至其他部門例如生產部及品檢部. 此舉其實已經屢次引起各同事之不滿.

因為你之前曾經要求本人只需集中精神處理品檢部相關事宜, 故本人並沒有像從前一樣在出現問題時向你提出.
但是按現行研發部之辦事方式會導致本廠無法提高良產率, 間接影響品檢部之日常工作.
加上研發部毫無理據地將其應盡之責任推至本部, 才在百般無奈下將本人意見以書面形式向你反映.
希望你可以了解實際情況後為研發部重新訂立其工作範圍, 以期此部門可以籍此清晰其職責.
