The Journey Goes On (II)


After exploring the China Town and Dark Street on Monday,
I fell ill again...so I didn't accompany them anywhere on Tuesday,
They just joined the local tour to travel around the Merlion (the symbol of Singapore) and some other spots.

On Wednesday,
My dad went to Malaysia with my uncle on business,
as well as picking up some fine cuisine`~~( I am very jealous...)
But my mom caught a cold and we worried that her fragile body could not finish the long driving trip ( 5 hours from Singapore to Malaysia...),
So she stayed at home...
Then i just went home after work to accompanied her`~~

On Thursday evening,
My dad and uncle went back from Malaysia,
and were dragged by my mom and I to go to the night safari~

My uncle dropped us at the gate,
then we explored the nocturnal animals all by ourselves ~~(both thru' tram tour and on foot)
We saw tigers (extremely smelly, lazily lied down on the rock),
lions (we could only see them across a huge ditch, but it is already very ...HUGE! but it yawned all the time),
leopards (totally lazy...lean on the glass wall and dream off... neglecting the "wow"s and "Ah"s of all the tourists),
different kinds of deers (feeding on grass, we saw those with horns, or with spots or nothing...),
giraffes (huge and towering...totally amazing)
flying squirrels (it really FLIED from one tree to another),
bats (HUGE! hanging on the tree with its wing covering the whole body like a cloak...scary...but actually they fed on fruits... but it is really shocking....very very big and close),
fishing cats ( they remained motionless and concentrated on the riverband, carefully spotting the fish in the water, totally neglecting us...but we didn't see them on real hunt...they just stood there ... we were not as patient as they were, we headed on to other animals...hahaha)

AND many others~~

It was a pity that the environment was too dark and we were not allowed to use flashlight to take photographs... so can't get the pictures for you guys`~

The trip was tiring nonetheless~~hahahaha`~ i went back home at midnight ...

On Friday, after dozing off at work several times,
I finally managed to finish my work and went back home on time to hop on the car,
and went to try the Mongolia BBQ~~

It was very interesting...hahaha...
There was a big metal disc in the restaurant,
the chef would just dumped your selected food (beef, pork, chicken and some veggie) on it ,
keep rolling them around the disc using an extremely long chopstick,
until the food is done`~

hahahaha~~ it was fun just to look at the chef perform`~~
But the food was not that delicious afterall~~

After the food, we headed to the "red light zone" of Singapore,
There is only one street,
the prostitutes there are all legal.
We drove thru' it slowly just like we did at Dark Street,
the "brothels" looked fantastic outside,
with those colorful lights on the door.
Since the prositutes are not allowed to stand on the street,
we could only catch a glimpse on them thru' the glass door...
What can I say... they dressed up sexy ....hm....

"Since there is a way for the men to "get their things done",
the government is very strict on any sex crimes,
either you get severe canning or jailing for years if you commit rape or even just harrassment,"
said my uncle.

I kept thinking about whether we should set up one in Hong Kong...
very complicated problem...

On Saturday,
We woke up early to catch my uncle's car to try "Pratar" as breakfast,
an Indian food`~ very tasty`~ it is in fact a flat sheet of pizza stuff,
and you dip it into the source to eat with...
very very tasty ~~hohoho~~

Then my uncle dropped us at Sentosa,
A must-go tourist attraction in Singapore,
It is a resort-like Ocean Park,
with cable cars,
bird shows (the parrots were so CUTE!),
dolphin shows (PINK dolphin),
and a famous musical fountain`~~~

That was a great trip,
and I got the chance to TOUCH a PINK DOLPHIN,
and TAKE PICTUREs~~
(in fact every one can try,
only you pay S$5, that is HK$23~`)
I have been looking forward to it ga la `~hehehee`~YEAH`~

On Sunday,
my parents went back to Hong Kong in the evening,
and uncle took us to try the famous "meat bone tea",
tasty but very very full~~haha~~

That's it for our family trip`~
Thank God for giving our family this opportunity to have fun together `~hehe`~

(My dad hadn't got a holiday for years...I am really glad to see his happy face throughout the whole journey`~)
