Pamela Lee 一向蠻酷的. 今天卻為了金牌運動員何翔笑逐顏開, 先是嫣然一笑、繼而梨渦淺笑、回眸一笑、乃至"傾盆大笑"!! (總之大家就是笑到 PBL 中斷啦)


其實今年劉翔可以取得金牌, 都是因為 Mr Chan Man 在家練習時跌倒而不能出賽而已....

昨天到律敦治醫院上了第二節 TB Clerkship
Dr Shetye (在半被迫的情況下) 請了我們在 canteen 喝東西, 謝謝!

出乎意料地在5:30pm便下了課
忽然多了一小時的時間, 我們在撻皮組長的帶領下去了銅鑼灣 hea
影了些貼紙相, 打了一會兒機
這組真好



今天是行程緊湊的一天

首先是早上 bedside
這次教我那一組的是"四大火龍"之一的鄺沃林教授 (光看外號也知道他們的脾氣不會很好)
本來睡眼惺忪的我馬上醒了點 (是 "睡醒" 的 "醒")
我們組走到哪一張病床, 原來在那裡的組 (包括跟組醫生) 都會自動撤退, 可見怕他的絕不只是學生..

還記得 HLA 和 MHC 的故事嗎?
今天他又再次否定了很多醫生教的理論
不過, 他的話確是有點道理的, 也 logical

今天學的 clinical skills 不多 (可以說是零)
學的是 YL Kwong 的哲學
以及英文 vocab..
如: equivocal 的讀音、 "club" 的4個字義


答問題的時候, 說 Upper Motor Neuron Lesion 時 差點兒用了 SL Ho 腔....... 險!


每次出 ward 都會遇到一些令人惋惜、心酸的病人
還是不寫了.. 免得悶壞人


接著的 WCS 很廢.. 睡了大半個鐘


下課之後一眾 Wonder爸 Wonder媽替組女Vto慶祝生日


吃完蛋糕, 馬上回家換衣服去打籃球
在旁邊的足球場碰到很多 M07 的同學

和 Richie, So Sir, Kevin (不是 Kevin So)打完籃球, 接著便是網球時間
嗯... 需要多點兒的練習...


緊接的是一個中學同學聚會

原來在圖書館內拍照是要得到"館長"批准的!


中國的金牌選手留港三天. 部分健兒 (約三分一. 其他的有些在中大, 有些則在某處表演跳水、排球、乒乓) 在今天下午到香港大學參觀

昨天, 上頭指示我們在運動員來之前在圖書館假裝專心讀書, 運動員來到的時候就熱情地歡迎他們

似乎後者比較容易.
我們幾個人在圖書館等的時侯, 一直被 librarian 和 其他人仇視...

等了好幾個小時, 一眾運動員終於在歡呼聲中步入醫學院大樓
很困難才拍到幾張照片啊



海膽, 不.... 是 邢慧娜, 很厲害的, 在向來是黑人稱霸的跑道上贏了 10000米跑 的金牌, 而且才二十歲呢
強!

There're always a lot of feedback, comments and words of disapproval after each Human Sexuality Course session.

Well yeah, the contents were controversial. But the message that I got was, quoting Adam, "Celebrate diversity, and judge nobody".

Why should anyone be condemned as "wrong" and "abnormal" for being different from most other people, provided that what they do does not harm or interfere with anyone else?

Psychologists tell us that since a very young age, we all learn about social "norms" and we start to live by them. We feel uncomfortable whenever we deviate from them. We tend to reject those that are deviant. No doubt, norms have their own societal value and purposes. But we gotta have a clear, rational and open mind, right?

Although I myself do not like the idea of BDSM at all, I do not think it would be wrong or "sick" to practise BDSM. There is no reason to criticize someone for his love of durians (榴槤), even if they smell like shit to u.
Just eat them inside a negative pressure room :P

Take a look at Adam's view on this matter.


Less blood would be shed, only if we could learn to respect and celebrate diversity.

昨晚在灣仔吃晚飯的時候碰到鄭中基
他的模樣真的很惹笑


今天上了第二節 Human Sexuality Course
這次吳敏倫請來了 Miss Schofield, the owner of a fetish shop in Central, 闡釋 "Sexual Variations"

在120分鐘裏, 她深入淺出地介紹了 BDSM
"B&D" - Bondage & Discipline, "D&S" - Dominance & Submission, "S&M" - Sadomasochism
還即場示範了很多道具的用法
不禁想起仁般給 Adam 的聖誕禮物.......


接著由 Dr J Ko (I wonder if J stands for Joseph?) 介紹 Sexual dysfuntions
他明言: "You can find the lecture notes on the download page. Today I'm here to tell you guys some jokes"

早上上了眼科的 clinical skills
大家的 cup/disc 都被公諸於世了


游了很多很多水.... 很累..


晚上替 Hei 慶祝生日
先在東京(餐廳)吃了晚飯
好多人, 好熱鬧呢
IXUS 相機真多人用


接著去跑馬地的 Alabar 繼續
碰見了杜汶澤、田麗蕊等人


Hei 和我一到便來了6個 shots 和一客 Lamborghini. 簡直是 intravenous alcohol infusion!

難道是宛兒私自更改了 order?!

換了新的 PBL tutor
Learning objectives 數目馬上倍升

原來 Dr PWW Lee 不是正常人!!

畢業兩年、二十六歲便成了兒科助理教授, 而且還是 MBBS (Hons).
也不知 兩年做 Assistant Professor 還是拿 Hons 比較難..... 對我來說, 兩樣都是夢境才有的東西


新發現: Dr Lee 是我的師姐哩, 好像曾經是某班的 "prefect 姐姐"!



今天和 Ronnie clerk 了我的第一次 case
很多病人都令人十分心酸....
Clerk 了四小時, 大概有兩三個小時是和病人談心
不過面對生老病死、病人對命運的控訴, 我還是感到有點不知所措

看著男護士對著一位末期肝病呼呼喝喝
他全身泛黃、肚積水脹得像皮球, 奄奄一息
可能是見慣了吧

連明天在內, 三天四個 bedside...
今天早上在 QM Libray 小睡時碰到 Jeremy (一位 Year 5), 他說:
"趁Year 3 有得玩, 玩多d喇!"
也許, 時間真的是相對的



記得二月二十七日的日記寫了點關於讀醫的"偉論"
當日那麼"感慨", 皆因看了莘莘學子, 故感懷身世一番..
作者 阿始, 原來除了"莘莘學子"還有不少散文作品.
很好看哩!
寫的都是環繞醫科生涯、實習醫生的經歷
他細緻地描繪了 houseman 的慘況, 寫了很多醫院的"實況".. 但一點也不悶, 還非常有趣呢!


我猜, 不同人看他的文章會有很不同的體會..
外人會覺得: 係咪真係咁誇張呀?
剛入 Year 1: 係咪真係咁誇張呀?
Year 2: 係咪真係咁誇張呀.... 不過又好似唔完全係誇張...
Year 3: 唔..我係咪揀錯科呢?
Houseman: 一切已經太遲喇!


咬緊牙關, 捱過這段路, 我相信前面便是大家想去的地方



P.S.: 這個 "阿始", 原來是我的師兄 (HKU Medic), 大概今年剛做完了實習, 比我年長四年吧

我還有一個懷疑.....

他可能是 RC 或 偉倫 的前宿生
因為他那篇"普通朋友"的背景跟這兩間舍堂完全無異.
O Camp, Morning Drill, Hall cheeres, Night programs, 灣景, 迴旋處... 一切都很熟悉..

今天是上學天

8:00am - 6:45pm

坐得很累. 很想打球


終於上了傳說中的 "Human Sexuality Course"
座無虛席, 班中所有 X 字輩的都坐得很前

這個 course 的講者 M.L. NG 今天請來了一位世界知名的性博士 Prof. Bullough
他們在答問環節談笑風生
甚麼是 "homosexual transsexual"?
就是 一個男人, 變了性做女人, 然後跟女人談戀愛...

吳敏倫教授的兒子 4歲便開始跟父親在客廳欣賞珍藏電影
就算是玩積木時也有 "背景聲效"




中場休息時, 兩位性博士為一眾男士解答疑惑
