These magnificent crepuscular clouds gave an ethereal glow to the landscape below on 6th July. Alan Hill captured this image whilst standing on Ibberton Hill near Bulbarrow, Dorset.
Lissa Haines was travelling along the A1 near Beal, Northumberland on 5th July when a funnel cloud appeared over head. Lissa tells us that it was "rotating furiously".
13 year old Stefca Fretter captured some remarkably delicate-looking clouds, which are a combination of fall streaks an distorted contrails, over Kilsby in Warwickshire on 4th July.
Dominic Turner was in Newburgh, Fife looking across the Tay estuary on 5th July when he photographed the vista dominated by a towering cumulus cloud.

The storm broke shortly after Elaine White photographed a small funnel cloud over Pontefract on 6th July, providing plenty of rain and lightning.

This unusual formation is caused by the combination of a number of wave clouds. Dominic Wade took this picture in Roker Beach, Sunderland on 5th July shortly before these clouds produced a lightning display.

「囧」字印章就在帖的最右方中央位置。
「囧」字,因為它類似人失意的表情,所以今時今日於網上,當網民遇上無奈的事情時,通常會打出「囧」,有人甚至為它作註釋,有人甚至為它開設網站。
當現今年青一代都以為「囧」是火星文,是由電腦程式合拼出來時,昨日竟有兩位江津網友,在臨摹王羲之的《遠宦帖》時,意外發現當中清晰地印上了一個「囧」字樣的印章。
江津讀高中的蔡同學和彭先生在家臨摹王羲之的《遠宦帖》時,意外發現了在紙張的右側,清晰地印上了一個「囧」樣的紅章,莫非王書聖也喜歡寫「囧」字。兩人立刻將此事發佈上網,並引起網民討論,才驚覺原來「囧」並非火星文,最早還可以追溯到甲骨文。
《遠宦帖》又稱《省別帖》,是《十七帖》中的書信。王羲之於東晉成帝鹹和九年赴武昌為征西府參軍,公元 332年時,王羲之在武昌擔任庾亮的軍事參謀,而好友周撫剛好從武昌轉至益州鎮守,此帖便是羲之在當時寫給周撫的一封信札。 How Nutritionists Eat Fast Food

Stonehenge looked beautiful beneath noctilucent clouds on the night of 17th June. Photographer - Grant Privett.
Dave Hancox was at the Standing Stones in Dalmellington, East Ayrshire late at night on 18th June when he captured these noctilucent clouds overhead.
Jona Jones said of these cirrus clouds; "They look like they are being sucked out of the sky". The photograph was taken in Bedford on 20th June.
Broadcast Meteorologist Peter Gibbs believes that this is a layer of Stratocumulus with an unusually undulating cloud base that is potentially caused by topography. Image taken by Alan Gregory on 18th June in Surrey.
More noctilucent clouds - this time Les Dodds captured an image of the phenomenon just before midnight on 17th June over Beeston, Leeds. He says "I'd never seen these clouds before and was fascinated by them".
