he's right. we meet lots of ppl in our journeys but are seldom connected.
能夠get connected是絕對珍貴的
It is Sunday today but it got no difference to me here.
I got swapping rooms today again. I checked out my single room this morning and finally will move into a cheaper 3-bed dorm.
After I left my luggage in the luggage room, I went to the lib again.
I think my internet addiction is just as same as I was in HK.
But I left at 4pm and visited the Art Gallery of WA. How artistic my schedule was!!
It was mostly paintings for the parts I visited.
All of them were Picaso to me, not meaning great but I just couldn't understand.

Returned to hostel after the Gallery was closed at 5pm.
Got the key of my room and found out I will be staying with a Pakestan guy and a French guy.
It's good that there is a big window but it's bad that the room is small and the 2 of them have already occupied most of the space.......
Now I just need to get ready for tmr, for my luck.
I wish I can still get the grape-picking job.
Just wish me luck!

Although I'm not sure if I may be able to get back the grape-picking job, I'd like to give it a try on Mon.
So,I extended my stay, though I will move, again, to another room, a 3-bed dorm.
I wish Wed would be my last day here.
And I went to NAB this morning to see if I can get my debit card with PIN asap so that I can move.
However, the lady at the bank just can't help any.... except telling me that I may pick up at other branches.... but not sure if which is the nearest....
I went to DickSmith again. Just found out that the $99 vodafone mobile broadband promotion is here again.
Yet.... stock isn't available......
The same saleslady told me that I can come back on Wed and see, or I can go to another branch while she checked for me.
But it was too far away...
I went to supermarket and bought a bottle of apple juice and 2 oranges....
And went to lib again.
Then back to hostel to eat my remaining pasta with apple juice.
Did some handwashing and hang them for drying~
My parents successfully called me after a few trials.
How boring it is!!!??
Maybe it can be more exciting if I have more money~~

I'm still staying at the same hostel.
The room owner at East Perth just didn't reply for a few days.... I dunno y......
Luckily I got my room available for the moment and I reserved 2 more nights~~
I then went to the Post Office for collecting my mail.
Found out that it was HSBC debit card.....
And when I activated it, the one in the phone told me that it needed 2 more working days before I receive the PIN.
Ppl here is Australia just worked slow, as slow as they can......
On the other hand, I used online banking yesterday to transfer my money to NAB.
And NAB just showed 0 balance and I later found out that it needs 2-3 working days to finish transferring.....
I had a soft cone of ice-cream at McDonalds'.
It was the most valuable food here, I think.
I waited for some time... almost fell asleep as it is the day I woke up the earliest in Australia, before 7am.
Then I went to AussieJob but they just gt not many jobs today.
I left my information there~~
I went lib again, for an hour, to check stuff.
Then went to The JobShop. They told me there is one grape-picking available but it needs to leave Perth on Wed.
I'm not sure I can get my debit cards including the PINs ready by Tues.....
It's a 8-week job and I heard grape is good among various picking jobs......
So hungry that I went back to hostel to cook.
Eventually I cooked too much pasta and I need to put it back to the fridge for another meal.
At 3:30pm, I suddenly remembered I forgot to one thing, not very important but I want to have.....
Visiting the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to get a hard copy of visa label.
It closes at 4pm and I thought I may not be able to catch the closing time.
I walked fast and thought even if I can't get the label, I would like to know what documents I need to bring so that I can come back again and get it directly.
Luckily I arrived at 4:50pm and they still let ppl to go inside.
I was in the queue when it was 4pm.
Luckily, unlike the banks, it still worked for the ppl who entered already.
Then a lady shouted if anyone just needed a label and I was the only one.
I got my label quickly. No questions asked.
I was trying to get back to hostel but later on found out that there is an outlet mall just next to it.
So I went inside to walked around. It was mostly clothes which I normally wouldn't spend time even window shop for this kind of things.
But I spent a few hours there today!! Though I bought nth. There was a pant seeming good yet it was kind of expensive to me....
Btw, how come there can be an outlet for the pharmacy??
It was sunset time and I went to the riverside to look at the sky and the river.
It was just sooooo beautiful.
I saw swan today. I didn't know there are swans in the Swan River.
I sat there watching. A lady sat next to me suddenly after like half an hour, feeding the swan.
I then realized there was a pigeon was jumping instead of walking like the others....
And its feather was strange, seemed to get hurt earlier.
When I looked at it closer, I found that one of its thenars was missing. It's a disabled pigeon.....
I just felt it was so poor........
The feeding lady just fed the swan (and even talked with it) but not the pigeons....
They were making noises when the lady fed the swan.
I then gave them some corn chips (I think they eat corn chips as I think they eat corns....) but there were only 2 pigeons including the disabled one left......
This is also the night I returned to hostel the latest, almost 9pm.
I was trying to get online for checking some email accounts but the network just drove me crazy.
I spent an hour connecting but it just couldn't get connected for more than a min....
I hate both the internet and mobile phone network here in Australia.
HK is again a heaven in terms of this.

I'm still staying in Perth becoz I still need to wait till receiving all the gov't documents, bank cards, etc before I can really travel around Australia freely.
Or else I may have moved away from this city already.
I spent my whole day at the lib today, sarching for jobs online.
Sent out a few emails.....
I watched TV and knew that the flooding is not only in Queensland but also Victoria.
However, it should not be covering the whole state coz I still see some recent postings of farm jobs in these area.
Anyway, if I can choose, I would like to stay in Western Australia at the moment.
One of the major reasons is that I don't want to spend so much on travelling back and forth before I travel enough in one place.
My stay here should end tmr and again, just like 2 days ago, I need to know wher I could stay only tmr......
I met an old NZ man tonight who is staying a few room next to me.
He has a friend living in Perth and should be able to spare a room.....Unluckily, his friend's son has just come back tonight and my stay tmr is unsecure again....
I'll be homeless if I can't find a place to stay... or maybe I can stay at a hotel with rate over $100/night.......
But nevermind, maybe I should look for a job first.....
Or maybe the girl at East Perth would reply by tmr so I can move straight to her apartment tmr.....
I got a big dish of stirred vegetables with smoked oysters and one orange for breakfast/brunch this morning.
I guess I may not need to eat tonight.....
