Back to my call centre today, I was so glad to meet my old colleagues from last project! Old faces are always nice... hehehehe... I think I didn't mention anything about the Microsoft project for some time... I called my supervisor the other day and noted that there are only 100 samples (phone numbers) for Hong Kong, so among 6 Cantonese interviewers, they only chose 2 to work. I am not included.

However, they were talking about it today... The client failed a Taiwan native-speaker and hired a Mainland person for work. As for Korea, they also failed a Korean! I passed my client but there wasn't work for me, hahhaa. Those who are working on the project says that the Taiwanese are super nice to them, but for the HongKies, they hung off the phone most of the time. Oh well...

We are siting for another test next week, this time the client is Cartier. I have had a look on their website, and so attracted with their products. I wish I have one of the bridal collection from Cartier given by my boyfriend :P ~~ The client is flying to Australia from Paris sometime later, will there be any souvenir from them, I wonder...

Finally I am back to my little hut in Murrumbeena. I had a night in Box Hill on Wednesday. It was pretty cool, I stayed in a master bedroom, with a king size bed! And that there is a upright piano for me to play when I would like to. I called a cell member by 11:55pm and asked her to pray for me, coz I was coughing like mad. And I can't afford to stay awake since I have to teach for the rest of the week.

There are 3 students that I have not taught last week. I have met one yesterday and will meet the other 2 on Sunday. I feel sorry for some of them, as I am losing my voice... I tried to clear my throat but still I can't speak properly. I really don't want to cough next to the students... :(

It's March by now, how's everyone going? Did you guys make a 08 new year's resolution? I hope we are all walking together!

It's a public holiday TODAY. My friend told me that she has uni from 2 - 10pm today. Poor little thing, Labour Day is not a university holiday! It's fair enough, they are students, not "labour". I told her that holi = holly (joyful) + holi = holy (worship), so be of good cheer and spend the day worshipping the Lord with her studies!

I myself was 80% dead for the morning & afternoon. I don't know, perhaps I have opened the door and let the heat entered my house this morning, I felt very uncomfortable. My pain in the throat has gone, but a cold has followed. I have already ran out of my tissues by now!

By 4pm, I tried to open my door and glad that the cold change has come. In-spite of being a little bit sick, I am hoping to work on my assignments this evening.

I am sick!!!

After the cell dinner on Saturday, I went to my workplace in Box Hill to do some preparation for my teaching. I stayed overnight in Box Hill. It was 2:15am, I was awaken by the pain. My throat was paining like crazy and I managed to take a tablet of pain killer. I went back to sleep 'til 8am.

By 11am, I was back to Murrumbeena, since I have my driving lesson at noon, I need to return home. In my last 1/2 hour lesson, I really want to give up. My throat was very irritating. I wanted to cough, but I wasn't able to cough comfortably. So basically I didn't argue with my instructor today. Whatever he said and commented, I just answered "okay" to him. I don't want to talk...

Thank you God! This evening, Alex stopped by when I was playing my viola. I saw that he wasn't going anywhere, and so I started to talk. I shared that I felt terrible last night. And my first week having a day & evening time work. I told him, I am doing a BA and there are a lot more courses that I would like to do.

"Focus", this was the word he gave me. Previously my mentor mentioned this word too! When Alex was studying physiotherapy, he also wanted to do Chinese Medicine and other medical related course. But he gave up and FOCUS on one area.

I shared freely with him that I found myself less passionate for the church since I joined the workforce. Haha, he comforted me and said I have just began the career, I will settle better later on... I can't imagine that he took 2 theology course while he was working. Superman, mate?

Finally he asked me to sleep early. And commented that I am ruining my health. I am sure, as a pastor, he has seen many many case where some 20s/30s people getting sick... and always those are the one who are passionate for Christ...

Although the tears didn't dropped, I was crying when I talked with him. God has been graceful. It's the end of the working days and he let me met Alex for a word. Now I need to learn to be graceful to myself. Really.

I am, in the middle of my practice...

I spent almost an hour, but I only learned 2 bars of the music.

I stopped.

I remember it works better for a worship team to spend 3 hours in praying and 1-2 hours in rehearsing than vice versa.

I paused to rest, and to pray too.

I wanted to cry.

I helped some students to learn their music, to read their music this week.

I worked to my excellence at work these days.

But now... >.< I don't know what I can present to my teacher on Saturday :(

I haven't yet polished the old stuff, and still not yet learned to the new stuff >.< ~~~

You know,

I thought of my non-Christian friends, at least they do not need to attend church gatherings, so they have more time.

Well, hopefully I can balance myself...

My instructor is letting me to make left & right turns on my own. I am feeling much better today. Hahaha, but still when there are other vehicles on the road, I can sense that I'd panic a bit. I hope one day, and very soon, I can confidently drive on my own. We finished the lesson at 7:40pm today. My instructor wants to have his own driving school and he asked me about advertising and internet & stuff. We had a chat about it until 8pm.

For our following lesson, we had negotiated for like 5 minutes. I want Sunday, he can't, he wants Saturday, I can't. Finally, we made it on Friday morning. We'll drive to Clayton so I can go to work after the lesson. Thanks God, hope that we will be on time! This instructor is 80% punctual, so I think it will be okay...

-//- This week I am at Clayton working as an auditor for a Utilisation Study. I need to walk between 2 buildings, surveying around 20 rooms every 30 minutes. Today I have found my best route and I took 15-20 minutes for each round, so I have around 10 minutes to rest. I am very grateful for this job. Some say it is boring, some say it earns a lot. In my opinion, on top of the earnings, this job offer me to exercise and time to read during my rest.

-//- I am heading to Box Hill tomorrow after the Clayton work. Then my piano teaching career will begin. Looking forward. Need to FULLY RELY ON JESUS!

I planned to have HQ Muffin for lunch, however, when I entered the campus centre, I realized that the price has gone up $0.2. Oh, what a shame >.< ! So I had 2 breakfast bar this morning during my 4 hours shift.

I'm teaching 9 students this month, and 2 casual jobs on hand. I guess I can make some money. However, on the other hand, I am spending some lump sum on teaching materials. Text books, music CD & speakers, I don't think my income & expenditure will balance yet!

Finally I got my schedule for the coming week. This is for the 1st week of March, my working & studying time. I am planning to practice viola at 11pm-12am every day. Hopefully I can also find a time for the 2nd driving lesson for the week.
