My friend & I had lunch at 檀香山 today. It's a little cafe which serve not-so-bad coffee. My friend knows that I love coffee and asked why I didn't order one today.

"Na, it's expensive"

I have ordered a chicken salad which cost HKD $38. Suppose if I convert it to AUD, it is not expensive! But I don't want to spend like $50 for a meal! So far I have spent $256 from 1- 15 July. I reckon it's not a bad record ^.^ ~ Okay, by the time to leave, I got my wallet out of my handbag, my friend stopped me and requested to get the bill after she went to the bath room. I sat for while, nothing to do... and asked the waitress to get the bill. Haha, I paid for her...

I am happy to treat my friends some good meals. It's always happy to spend money on others other than spending for my own sake. Thanks God that from now on I can pay for others and myself.

Woo~ I got new ideas regarding my violin!!! They pop up while I was walking back to the orchestra this evening. Sometimes new inspiration comes to my mind too! Oh! I hope they are from God, like those experience when I have had in LIFE. I don't have the skills, the ideas - yet every morning I wake up, there are something new and interesting notions on my head which can be applied to my current ministry/work.

It is supposed to be my day off on Sunday. However, I returned to my workplace at 9am yesterday. Partly I have something on hand that I wanted to finish off, but mostly I looked forward to do some practice myself. Coming Monday - Friday would be more occupied, the orchestra is being scheduled to rehearse from 2:30-7:30pm each day.

I left my workplace at 7:40pm, it was my first time to stay there on Sunday. I got to experience the very quiet 9-10am session, and the busiest session after 6pm. Choir, band, orchestra, private teaching, all sorts! And people coming up to me with enquiries.

Oh well, I went to church for the 8pm service. And after that I enjoyed a dinner with a sister who is in the choir. We had a japanese feast, my favourite ^.^ ! Right after that, I accompanied her to get some luxury items - cosmetics, lotions, mask... I came across a bottle of "羊胎素" which cost $250 a tiny bottle. The sales told us that someone has tried and returned to get 4 more bottles. One tiny bottle can last for 4 days. Furthermore, the sales came up with different sorts of "magic" products. I don't disagree that these things can help middle-aged women look better, but sadly there's a fact that they won't last! Haha, who knows? maybe when I am 40, I will think about it?

My friend and I stayed in the shop 'til 11:45pm. They had a long chat (sharing?)... And the sales keep promoting new stuff. Suddenly I saw her hands... I wondered how old she is. Her hands looked like an old lady's hand (I would say, 65+ years old). And her face looked like 40 something.

The Youth Fellowship was finished at 9pm something this evening. I visited the supermarket and returned home after that. I felt that it is still very "early", still many hours until my sleeping time. Good... I read my bible, read "Passion & Purity", wrote some insights and think about God.

Mebourne 時間，零晨一時許。剛在網上看了 MMTC 的 notes 及 ppt。很想星期一就自己自修返神學的課程。68 頁 notes，哎，如果我部 laser printer 係澳門就好喇！

明天有團契，沒有太大的 desire 想返去。不過我都會返。

有多投入，幾時先投入．．．交上吧！

Each night, I tried to leave the office early, hoping to not get so in-touched with my job. I also wanted to return home earlier to do some practice. But most of the time I fail to leave. Or when I have arrived home, I am reluctant to play the violin. My dad on earth has set up the router and so I can have internet in my bedroom. I feel good with that. I think I enjoy chatting/ sharing/ e-mailing my friends after a day's hardwork.

I am now working as an administrator for the choir. On some particular day, I received a dozens of calls and a dozens of SMS from parents. All sorts of issues/ taking leave/ asking this and that. Sometimes I stayed at the office until 11pm to finish my work. But on some other day, I have nothing to do and get bored to death!

So far, I have 2 new violin students, a boy and a girl, both of them are nice to me. The boy is a bit "smart" and the girl is quiet and always smiling.

I'm back from Thailand. Very nice & relaxing trip.

Some highlights:

- I felt dizzy in the morning and while I boarded the flight. I was being offered to sit next to our doctor. I thought of giving up to go to Thailand. I also imagined if I will be "carried" onto the plane.

- No sightseeing & not dinning out on the first day. Super thankful to Jesus. After visiting my grandpa, after the Europe trip & the intensive rehearsals, I can finally rest. I don't have a lot of responsibility in this trip. And I am promoted to be a staff now!

- Went shopping with my colleage, and we stayed in the bras & undies department for quite awhile. I was shocked & satisfied to get 5 pieces of underwear for $1100 BART. Usually I can only get 1 piece for that price in Australia/ Macao :P

- Very glad to play SMS with my Aussie friends and chatted with Anna during the restful evening.

- Very surprise & touched - my friend offered to pick me up from the airport, she also treated me a dinner.

- Not much photos were taken, coz we were in the hotel the first day, in the university the second day and shopping on the third day. Nothing much to sight (-seeing).

- My first time didn't post any postcard in overseas!!! No postcard for sell in the hotel =_=. Then when I had bought some postcard, there is not postage service =_=. I have bought 20 postcard and will post them in Macau, wahahah~ I wrote 14 postcards to VO+CE !!!

- I've received a certificate in Thailand, but it was printed in Thail, I have no idea what it says!

- Many went to swimming/ spa & massage! Oh! SPA & Massage are my favourites!!! Yet it's not a good time to stay in the water for me :( ! And for massage, I fear that people will accidentally hurt my shoulders while massageing , so I have given up.

Oh, yesterday was BLACK FIRDAY wor! I just realized that!

Due to some urgent notice, I am working this morning as a replacement teacher for my boss. I went and give lessons to primary school kids. They are not too naughty and quite nice to me! I went home and found myself feeling weak & sick. Sometimes I feel okay, but sometimes I feel the cold is annoying me. Tomorrow we shall start our rehearsal for the Thailand Program.

3 days intensive rehearsals! Let's see what would happen...
