Birthdays 2010

4 February... it's a normal working day. I treat my colleagues a lunch and also bought some dessert for my yoga classmates. My colleagues are always happy when someone brings a treat. So do my yoga classmate, one of them remembers that I bought a birthday cake for everyone last year when it was my birthday.

Thanks God. Since last year, I would like my birthday to be as thankful as I can. It's great when you let people know how much that have contributed to our lives. Even a stranger.

By the way, I was on the bus this evening. I saw a lady searching her bag, she was holding a declaration form. I guessed that she was about to fill in that form and prepare for the custom, coz the bus is going to the Border Gate direction. Not long after, she gave up her search and put away the form. I hesitated a bit and then handed out a pen to her with a smile. She accepted it, we didn't say anything in this encounter. I just hope that people will meet and experience more nice moment on earth.

Right before 4 Feb 2010, two things moved its way into my life.

First, someone banned our concert in March.

Second, mom responded and protested after knowing that Sheng is from Zhuhai.

Very thankful to be in HK this weekend. I met 10+ VO+CE bro & sis plus 2 new friends! Also enjoyed 12 hours in L' Hotel! A bonus is my visit at Tung Fok Church.

Upon my 3 targets for the year (regarding work, relationship and church), I am quite happy with myself.

When every family members urge me to change job, I don't feel the need. I don't mind the pay.

I want to say today, I want to quit. Tears are filling my eyes while I typed my last sentence. Got a few thoughts here, perhaps pack up and get back to Australia. Anyhow I have my residency! Or trying another company in Macau, it doesn't look difficult. What about going back to dad's idea or Habitat Computer?

Osp, why am I so fragile this time?

For one reason that I never though of making another move or changing my idea, I bet, it's because I believed that God send me back.

There is a challenge today. The devotional asked us to list a person's name who we were angry with. After listing the name and the incident, think of 3 good things of this person.

I responded by putting away the book.

Yes, I ignored it.

no one expected a to-be-believer to be present in our church reunion

but God lead him to us

I had a chat with him before we left

and after that we exchanged facebook and MSN

he invited me to a hot-pot this Sunday

due to my work commitments I have turned it down

and these days, he is stressed and frustrated in the society

I am glad I am pretty uplifted

so I am not grumbling with him

but I can do something

I shared with him my two most comforting songs

"God will make a way" - introduced by K in 2004

"You are my All in All" - also in 2004, from KFC worships

the lyrics triggered him to ask more questions about Jesu

so good

hopes that he experience God!

When I departed for Australia, I already know that 1000+ people in Macau are gonna mad with me, or, our work. Due to my luXury annual leave, I have withhold the release of their results for 14 days. Anyway, it's done and all is happy!

Friday of the third week of January. It's also my first working week in 2010. Things turned out pretty well, I am striving to go to work on time and finish on time for 2010.

- Visited Docklands this afternoon once again, this time with A, she had a hard time driving and reading the medway on the way. You know, the passenger next to her is not very keen on the map

- Back to CCBC... my planned schedule! Met C once again and she keeps selling "Avatar" to me. Next I met F and she handed me the CCBC calendar. I was really happy.

- VO+CE... once we had 10 people on stage, with trombone, vln and vla & drums & piano...

- Tears dropped as we sang the concluding song. It's not about the sermon, it's about my departure.

- Final call... I thanks God deeply, for today I can bump into F, J, A, M, L & Mar to say a GOODBYE and had a short chat.

- Final mission... after dinner with cell, I returned to Box Hill and met my aunt. She was busy and we only met for a very short moment. At least, mom's request has been made
