Sheng 生日，跟他及好友吃 dinner．個個都稱 Sheng 為"龍哥"，似那些從前出死入生過的兄弟．每次同佢 d friend 飲野食野，都比我感受到中國人那自豪的"義"！我們去的那家 restaurant，有兩個 waiter 都是他們的同學，所以服務得特別好．

去到最後，我想到了，可能這７個朋友．．．就是我們的兄弟團！！！的確，他們是中學同學，認識了好多年，又平常走在一起．．．我開始記得佢地 d 名！！！仲熟左 d ～　昨已好比面，飲左小小酒，都係晚上咳死咁 lor~

錢，在感情生活中不是最重要的，但是是必須的。一個男人如果是真的愛你的話，就不會為你去計算錢，只要你需要的合理，有能力支付，就一定不會不答應。因為在他心裡，連你都是他的了，為什麼還不能給你花錢？

It's Sheng's birthday today.

He insists to treat his friend a feast. I disagreed. If he's saving money, why make this treat? Although 100 or 200 bulks isn't that helpful... but if we put them together, we can save a lot after a year.

Last month he paid for my coat which was having 50% discount. That was VERY expensive as it has 70% fur to keep ME warm under 10 degrees. I offered to pay him back but he doesn't want it.

100 dollars... this is sort of 10% of an ordinary income in China. So actually I still don't understand why he can be that generous to me. Ever since I am not getting allowance from my parents, I found myself very mean to contribute a penny to another person. I don't mind to pay bulks for a coffee, for a nice treat, but I mind to spend that much on others. Hehe... not to mention sponsoring a child... adopting a tiger...

Actaully... in my mind, if we are not earning more, then we should aim to save, isn't it?

Last time when I had a drink with Sheng's cousin, I found that China really doesn't have this AA 制 idea! His cousins expect us to pay the bill (transport + afternoon tea). I replied that we are fond of AA 制 and that Sheng is saving 老婆本. Sheng found me very funny but also very appreciate me trying best to save his pocket. He knows he will just offer them since he is the elder cousin. To me, every of us are already working, why not pay our own bill.

I miss the days when we had dinner for a table of 12, and the 12 of us pay the bill together, pouring coins and paper notes to the middle of the table.

識搵錢的人出手是 GENEROUS OR MEAN?

Will it be becoz I am in a non-profit organization? Where my income is already lower than the same calss in society...

急性咽炎 ~

16/2 星期三完左崇拜, 第二日我就請左 sick leave. 是感冒, 我估是因為之前的一星期累累地, 星期六整天的 wedding 事宜, 星期日晨早去左 church camp... 落下雨呀... 星期一 Sheng 生病先, 我沒事. 因是 valentine's day~ 點都想見下面. 我兩日之後先感到 not feeling well.

19/2 前天開始我個喉嚨勁勁勁 painful! 我那天吃 panadol~ 點知沒用 =_='' 放工後去左看急診, 個醫生都幾細心 explain 給我知什麼事.

不過我返左屋企, 吃了藥就狂咳 >.< ~ 半夜都仲咳 T_T''' 平時我好自豪我睡得很好!

Decided that I won't visit any 美容院 this year. Their service is very good and the technology is so so so wonderful. However, the bills are the problem!!! Sometimes Sheng would ask "I haven't seen you gone shopping, where have your money gone?" hehe... I don't want to tell him how much I did poured to having facial treatment...

I know if I eat well, sleep well and keep my body well, there's chance for my skin to improve every 2 years. Well, since my skin has been cleansed by technology and has improved quite a lot. It's now the time to stop and take care of them by myself lor~

That save money too!!!

Last night I got the SMS telling me that the mobile bill is $657.9. I was shocked while accepting it. Yay, okay... I am not paying any water/ electricity bill, or the internet fees, so it's not that hurting. Just all my red packets are now gone! I checked this morning that actually I have FOGOTTEN to pay my mobile fees for January!

Um... yes, I paid something (December bill) before I went to Australia. I came back... and I didn't visit the mobile shop!!! XD so good they didn't charge me extra. And I decided to apply for auto pay this evening!

Meanwhile dad has given me quite a generous red packet for my birthday. You know, no matter what amount I get, my parents will be giving me extra red packets for my birthday!!! That "generous" amount will now goes to the 人情 payment to my sister.

I have received 2XX RMB from Sheng's family & relatives. Sheng even wondered why my "amount" is greater than his!!! His mom likes me? =_='' There is always room for me & his mom to be alone. First, his dad doesn't speak Cantonese, so we communicate with a SMILE only (we do have eye contact!). Then they have a routine to take showers after dinner. So when Sheng has his shower, I am LEFT alone. His mom asked if we will be staying with them when we get married. Coz she fears what I will treat her son. Literally... his mom finds out that I DON'T cook Chinese food.

應該是生理及心理的問題, 昨日趕起 d poster 後好累. 晚上回家吃完飯, 想沖個涼再返教會啦, 點知有好心人告之我張 poster 有 typo!!! 我回辦公室作了修正. 如果待到第二天, I think I can't sleep.

Boss was away, and now he is back for a week. Will be gone again for 13 days. Sometimes when he is not in the office, I am so relaxed. However, becoz he's not around, I got stacked up piles and piles of things unsettled. When he is back... um... it's my turn to be stressed.

February... this year I have so many holidays! There are many public holidays lying on SATURDAY/ MONDAY so I am completely enjoying a long weekend!!!

Church Pianist!

Oh! Tonight I am playing the piano at church.

Looks like I haven’t play seriously the piano for several several years. I have asked if we could play the music with viola & guitar. However, our senior pastor is out of town and he hasn’t approved it yet.

I had struggled with the hymns; especially they are in chords-like pattern horizontally note by note. I would like to thank many 前人 who has written down guitar chords for the hymns.

耶和華是愛 & 永遠的讚美 -> worship songs tonight!

And the Doxology… I don’t know why I don’t have any “feeling” to this hymn =_=. I found it very hard to play it well.

So great to have fixed – my bank a/c, mobile & internet without hassle; I have used facebook to the utmost while I am slacking at Preston, it was so cool. Sometimes Sheng complained that I am not an ordinary girl, say girls may like Hello Kitty or Snoopy and they stick to that. But he realized that I love technology more than any other commodity!

Okok… many asked if I am alone & WHY! “MONEY & VISA” are my responds. And it’s very meaningful to me while sharing stories of Sheng & myself. Most of them are interested how we met.

Thank you God for my safety. The day that Sheng learned I am living in a hostel, having our internet conference at the backstairs, he was very worried. He requested me to live at bro/ sis place next time when I make a visit. “Next time?” I asked. Indeed I have make up my mind that this might very be my last time coming in to this wonderful land. Next year I planned to visit his hometown for my annual leave. It’s their family tradition, no matter where you are, when you are about to get married, you got to visit the ancestor. We both understand worshipping the ancestor is forbidden, hope the other family members understand too.

So after 3 days in the hostel, I have met ppl from Swiss, Germany, Japan & New Zealand. Obviously they are very keen in travelling. Unlike me, sleeping until noon, hanging around the city… So far I think aunt is the only one who agrees with me that it isn’t wrong to travel half the hemisphere… take a nap and watch TV in the room.

Stupid me~ thought that the rehearsal tonight is 6-9pm, but actually it is 7-9pm =_=~~

Although I am still on working hours, it's just so moodless now. Especially the examiners had left, I am free. And it's the last day exam, so I am most likely slacking.
