Maniche joins Chelsea



Chelsea today completed the loan signing of Portugal international midfielder Maniche.

The 28 year-old joins until the end of the season from Dynamo Moscow. He has not played in
European competition this season so is eligible for UEFA Champions League action.

Maniche (whose full name is Nuno Ricardo Oliveira Ribeiro) becomes the first player to have worked
with José Mourinho at three different clubs. A product of the Benfica youth system, he was coached
by Mourinho during the Chelsea manager’s nine-game spell in charge at the Lisbon club in 2000.

Prior to that, Maniche had spent three seasons on-loan at Alverca before returning to play for Benfica.
In 2002 Mourinho took the midfielder to Porto where the two shared in domestic and European
success.

Maniche was in the side that won the Portuguese League Championship, the Portuguese Cup and
UEFA Cup in 2003. The next season he scored two goals in the Champions League quarter-final
against Lyon and played the whole game as Porto triumphed over Monaco in the Final. The
domestic title was again won with Maniche scoring six times.

He made his international debut in 2003 and has been a regular since, playing all but three minutes of Portugal’s Euro 2004 campaign that ended with defeat in the Final. His long range shot in the
semi-final against Holland was voted goal of the tournament and Maniche was also voted into the
all-star squad of the tournament.

In the summer of 2005 he moved to Dynamo Moscow for a Russian record transfer fee of 16 million
euros, along with Porto team-mate Costinha.

The switch to Chelsea is the second consecutive January transfer window that the club has
strengthened the squad with a player from a Russian team. Last year Jiri Jarošik joined from
CSKA Moscow.

2005 Review

JAN~人生最失落d時候,原來阿珊經已有男朋友的了

FEB~差唔多每日放工後都要同崔sir去銅鑼灣上堂,好鬼辛苦

MAR~車仔打敗巴塞,入歐聯8強,yeah~~~!!!!!!!(本來諗住車仔死梗ga la,點知..........)
開始每日都差唔多5,6點sin走,冇他ge,
因為6e班ge某d女同學每日放學之後都會超時留在學校的電腦室上網和做project,
我很喜歡每日放工後都走上去同佢o地傾計.............

APR~唔知點解5e班ge馮文靜同學會無端端咁憎我,百思不得其解
好難頂ar呢個月,學生唔使返,但我日日都要返,對住我最討厭ge阿Wing同Arbe同Alice............

MAY~車路士奪冠,開心死la
唔明點解響歐聯要放俾利物浦lor

JUN~一向都篤眼篤鼻ge Alice要離開了........................
其實一路以o黎佢都好憎我,係因為我一路都好憎佢
同一時間於2003年9月1日 入到o黎,點解d miss阿sir俾曬d o野佢做,我?????
佢就做到踢曬腳,見到我日日都悠手好閒,佢就埋怨我唔做o野,偷懶,蛇王,
佢就其實一路都唔明我,我d o野其實就一早就做好曬la...............

JUL~d6年級ge學生要走la,好唔拾得.............
提前解約,不斷搵工但最後都搵唔到,迷網............
第一次出Cream Function,之後每逢有Cream Function 都會出席
苦等o左一年半,李健終於回來了

AUG~同Cream合照,好開心

SEP~返學,努力識人,因為之前面試ge時候,果d師兄師姊叫我要識多d人.................

OCT~本來返學都唔錯ge,d同學都冇乜o野ge,好好人,好nice
但之後開始覺得返學係無鳩謂ge,因為有人要針對我,日日都好似打仗咁...............
而得罪佢一個人就好似得罪o左班咁,孤立無援
而且又冇乜錢使
返工咪好lor

針對我果個人居然o黎同我講sorry,係好o左d ge感覺上,
可惜之前我做d o野出o黎經已搞到神憎鬼厭,
而且要我改變係冇可能,禁冇面ge o野我係唔會做ge,
即係本來我平時對住你ge時候係西口西面ge,無端端要我笑面迎人咁對住你,係冇可能ge.......

DEC~好多謝Winnie,可兒會吸納我,同你o地一組做assignment,
我高興同你o地一組,因為我好欣賞你o地做assignment時ge認真................
班中邊個係小人我經已知道,死鳩梗la你
之前返過去普愛,好高興d學生對我好似以前一樣咁熱情...........
家明對我ge人格作出批評,說明o左我再係咁落去,d人際關係會好差,
聽完明佢講咩,但係有得改變咩??????

3:00pm叫women去我屋企幫我補數......................
5:00pm同佢去o左阿偉度,問佢今晚出唔出o黎,佢又話睇o下點先la,激死人.......
then三個人響度傾計.............
傾到7點幾阿德番o黎,話去到睇波,食o左d o野之後sin去.............
睇完場阿仙奴後都10:30pm la,同佢落o左去馬會補飛,補完飛就去尖沙咀la................
去到倒數完後,企o左一陣走人................
之後3:00am(1月1日)同家明落新法宵夜,
then去o左報紙檔果度坐,哈哈,十分合時,俾我第一次見到吹雞場面,
最好笑ge就係有一個CID俾個古惑仔打o左一拳,
之後個古惑仔原西洋菜北街係咁走,但最後都比人捉住......
咁ge震撼場面,永世難忘

再之後,見到熟人,廖sir...........
走去同佢寒暄o左兩句後,就入場la............
個show好好睇.....................
之後走la,響紅館門口等Cream出o黎.................
之後再影多幾張相後,走人....................

Frank Lampard second in the world

Frank Lampard has been declared the second best player in the world at FIFA's World Player Gala on Monday.

Lampard was in attendance at the ceremony in Zurich where he finished between Barcelona pair
Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o in the voting.

It is the second year in a row that Ronaldinho has won the accolade and the second time in 2005
that Lampard has finished runner-up to the Brazilian for one of football's top individual honours.
Last month they were the top two in Europe's Ballon d'Or.

The World Player of the Year award is in its 15th year and is decided by the national team coach and captain from each member association in FIFA.

Ronaldinho polled 956 points, Lampard 306 and Eto'o 190. Didier Drogba finished tenth.

The coaches who voted Lampard in first place were Germany's Jürgen Klinsmann, Italy's
Marcello Lippi plus the coaches of Algeria, Ecuador, Madagascar, Mexico, Nigeria, Serbia and
Montenegro, St. Lucia and Ukraine.

Amongst the captains, he was voted first by Premiership-based trio Alexey Smertin of Russia, the
Dutch skipper Edwin van der Sar and Sweden’s Olof Mellberg. Also placing Lampard first were the captains of Algeria, Bulgaria, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Croatia, Estonia, Guinea-Bissau, India, Mexico, Poland and Saudi Arabia.

Speaking at the Gala, the Chelsea vice-captain Lampard said:

"To come second to Ronaldinho is almost a victory. I'm very happy. To come second is a fantastic achievement for me - there's so many great players in the world.

Ronaldinho is so good, he fully deserves to be crowned the best player in the world. I think I've
improved, I work very hard, I train very hard, I'm very ambitious and I want to get better every season.
I put my progress down to the hard work I've put in and the help of my team-mates. Playing with good
players makes your job a lot easier.

"I try to improve every year - this year I came second, next year I will try to come first. It's a big
season, a World Cup year, and I'm hoping for success for my teams.

"When I play I try to contribute to my team whether it's for Chelsea or for England so that's what I'll be
looking for next year. Personal awards are good but the team awards are the ones I really want. I
would happily swap the World Player award to win the Champions League."
