i want to say. Toronto's taxi fare is v. expensive
round trip (two-way) from my home to airport needs $8x CAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my god. $600HKD at least.
and I can't ask my host to take me as it's too early/late.
I'm not going to take any public transport either as I'll be leaving at 6am on Sat
as the flight is at 8am
then when I return, it's 1am on Tue and afternoon i'll have lesson.
there's only taxi for me or else I'll miss the flight/can't go home (really)
I'm going to have a tight schedule anyway. cuz they've planned all the activities for me already :O
oh, so good, I never thought someone will plan all the things for me. dont ever.
cuz before i know there's a schedule for me..I'm still searching for tourist spots on the internet.
so now I can just focus on my school things :D

Mid-Autumn was good in Canada
auntie and uncle and their hateful son and the jp woman all went out from the house to see the full moon with me.
we are just like a family.
so they're really old now and I can be their grandchild
they wont ever wake me up in the morning...though i set clock at 1030 every morning to avoid embarrassingly late to get up.
today uncle showed me his picture

and auntie said he 報大age 先入到軍隊的
he was v. handsome when young

they're a charming couple.

but he didnt let me get through the security gate.
he then told me directly u have to take off ur coat for checking...
if ppl heard sth like "it's warm today y not take off coat"
i wonder how many guys can give the response correctly as the customs expect.

I bought Saint On Na Ice Moon Cake here....in one Chinese supermarket.
And my host family drove me there. It's cheap. cuz it's on sale, $19.88 CAD....um
about $150HKD la...it's cheap becos it should be $29.88 originally
things here at least a double price...
u know, cheap thing then a double price of HK's..normal than triple price..expensive then 4 times the price la. (that's what I think)
Wing Wa Moon Cake is $32! How good luck I'm,becos no matter what price (not more than HKD$300) I'll have to buy anyway becos I want to eat mook cake!!

我這裡最近都不錯
都已經nearly 4 weeks..I take 2 weeks to get familiar with the transportation system
開始可以獨立
因為之前係會覺得好驚
as u're not familiar with the map and transport
v. worried to get lost.
d bus go along one long straight road.
but the bus driver may not tell which terminal it is
so u feel v. worried
always stand close to the bus door and keep finding what place it is.
if miss the terminal, I'll be afraid that I cant come back home.
host 方面我有幸福的感覺 :D 同tarot 張'太陽'一樣, warm and lovely
they always say I'm funny. we have lot of fun together
and I always help them fix the tv. so uncle and auntie like me lot (I suppose)
they call me little girl or little thing or my girl or TV expert or Alice in most of the time becos they said they can be my grand parents :)
I'm so happy I have grands again!
but i always have to watch tv with auntie!!!!
I have no time dealing with my study and hw
and even no time to type the things happen here
anyway, starting from next week, i'll tell auntie i can't always watch tv with her
I'm sorry to leave her alone...but I really have no time study

Back from the Ottawa trip from last Thur to Sun

have problems with peer relationship, they are so selfish
other things are fine at the moment
I bought a lot of gifts.......for everyone!! :D
I'm tired really.
everyday i have to wash 3 meals' dishes...as well as my underwears...and bath..
so my fingers gone cracked.
sigh
but helping to do the housework is voluntary, because they treat me well.
I like them and they are old. dont want them to do those cleaning work
I live well here too...delicious food everyday and have my own bathroom
except less privacy and private time....
I'm v. satisfied anyway.
afterall i need to accompany auntie to watch tv...
she's lonely so even i'm quite busy, I would stay with her till 11,12night
and when I'm back to my room...I can't study cuz I'm already so tired.
so I plan to leave my study in weekends...from now on....
i dont know, anyway...it's a problem of time management again.

當d local student and professor speak eng as their 1st lang. all the slangs come out and
it's so difficult to catch it unless u pay really much attention.
they speak even faster than tv.
I've been here for two weeks already. 我聽過3次別人說u speak a fluent eng
但係我覺得佢地係同台灣,內地比...then of course HK is a bit better.
今日tue 呢堂,wa, d eng 快到...而且mono-tone...個口又無open to speak...
成堂得get 度3,4 成,唔係講笑...仲衰過上soci/philo....which I just understood 6,7成 of the english.
成班上的堂就no problem. as i 've said,the professor speak a little bit slower (其實都很快了)
如果成班拆開and mix with local students together...then the other professor will speak really really fast like we talk in Cantonese,even faster than tv i'm sure,救命
我想距離那個"fluent Eng" 還很遠
暫時係o甘先,看看有沒有進展after 2months.

等我講d funny things,
1. Canada 不用蚊貼,HK 蚊一定是無淡好食,飢餓得濟.........
2.一落機大家手指齊齊即刻生倒刺;但用了Vaseline (BB pat pat 探熱那隻)一晚就好番
3.我廿年沒有犯過的錯誤-->混淆he 同she in speech...在這裡不停發生. 我想我會明白y there're so many students saying a wrong pronouns...he/she, him/her....原來因為太緊張. 以前我從來都無試過這樣,and dont understand y ppl cant separate he and she. now I understand :D
sigh...廿幾歲先要從頭來過to control he/she.
4.我買了本書nearly $40 CAD dollar, around HK$270, 被逼買啦當然, Tony's bk, the same one, is just $5 in what exhibition (2nd hand). what a shit,so ironic, if $5 ,10th hand 我也唔ming!...would u bet me read it or not?! I hate books.
5. 一間屋的basement 原來有開冷氣的感覺!!a bit cold, but actually no air conditioning!! they said it's becos basement is in underground....then y the mtr station in Kwai Fong is so hot?! is it becos it's on ther gound but not underground?!
6. the temperature here...um when i left the airport and I had my short sleeve t-shirt...um...u feel comfortable,although it's still hot. at least u wont sweat. so the temperature is abt 23,4,i guess.
and then the temperature now is around 17-22...
the 1st week i came here lei....it had a bright sun, and the sunlight is really hot. my legs had a feeling of burnt! BUT! the wind is cool...so no sweating ga bor....maybe sometime a very little bit 冒汗的感覺la
so the difference between hk and cad...i think it's the wind. the wind in hk is wet and hot. the wind in cad is dry and cool. that's the difference y in here ppl feeling more comfortable on street.
7. the whole world only 小人G bring with an umbrella. I had a cap with me 都已經俾人歧視. 但是Irene 已經即時說他低能仔. yea, so whenever we're discriminated, we'll scold back in cantonese.
8. 外國人很喜歡說u know what? or they say: guess what? 我想我遲早都會說u know what? 我想意思是"do u know that..."
9. in fact 黑人歧視你的機會率高於白人
10. host mum 說autumn 的weather 很不穩定,這是特色. sometimes rain, sometimes super windy(I experienced already...like typhoon blow me to move to left when i want to go to the right side), sometime v. hot. yes, this week it's cool these 2days ....abt 17-22...and then thur and fri goes up to 20-26...then sat and sun drop to 9-17. 這裡溫差都幾明顯可以feel 到的..from morning and night. cos at noon it has bright sun..
11. 這裡的陽光in summer 830 先正式落山.but winter they say 4 pm then no sunlight,and just look like mid-night. so canadians love sunshine

my host family is very nice. just the same as the tarot card i drew out=Sun.

they are kind old couple.
the problem that i have is the relationship with peer.
