Wind chill 真的好勁
非常凍
host just said it's just the beginning of winter..
today i felt like just abt -6,7 degree...though the reported temperature was just around 0 to -2

today went out to buy a bday gift to auntie
few days ago 已經想好了要去swarovski 買禮物
不過這裡的水晶比香港貴得多(even the same product,same design)
最後買了Xmas Ornament ....計埋tax 都成$57...肉痛&破產
在店裡面看了很久...心大心細
cuz i was thinking whether buy her a little sheep or a bday cake crystal figure.
而且在想究竟好唔好買呢?其實都猶疑了一陣
最後很搞笑地離場一陣,走了去買自己鍾意的夾耳環(In fact I 've bought over 10 pairs of those ear clips in this trip :p)
才打回頭買禮物
買完我真的銀包無錢了..剩番3個幾...呢個trip 帶來的錢剛剛用完

hoho, still have not more than 2 weeks then i'll be back to hk~

after buying present it's already 5...and need to go to Glendon Campus to do an interview..
the place is so far away and the sky was dark already...like mid-night.
when back to home i was so tired.
had a nice dinner then i go back to my room to wrap gift.

in fact it's 11..auntie said go to bed.
then i dashed out and told her still have 1 hr bor....let's watch tv la.
then she saw there's companion for tv..so she returned to sitting room
and watched tv together...comedy
then the watch came to 12 then i shout HAPPY BIRTHDAY
and went to my room to take the present and card.

she was so surprised!
and when she saw that she felt v. happy
saying that she loved it and will remember me forever when seeing the 雪花吊飾
suddenly want to cry when she said "forever" this word
and gave me a big hug then went to bed.
Im also very happy becos she likes it
今日係佢80歲生日...
其實for me, a CHINESE girl 我覺得好大日子...
我覺得it's really a very great and precious moment..really
因為我可能不會有80 歲那麼長壽......
.......有機會可以同一個慶祝80歲生日is so great
maybe it's once in a life time chance....
so it's so precious..
(亦是因為這樣我才想買份精緻d 既present賀下佢)

有樣野好諷刺,就係在HK我甚少去的地方,反而Canada 去了=_=
like swarovski, crabtree...
isn't it ridiculous.
btw,...個水晶吊飾is so pretty...我自己都唔捨得買for自己.
買個陣時我真係驚she wont like it...as she has so many diamond.gems..我無可能買鑽石俾佢
就算我好有米我都覺得唔適合送鑽石for 這類對象.

不過,anyway 番到香港我想買o個o個水晶奶嘴吊飾...cuz I like 奶嘴. I saw the 水晶奶嘴 on the website...
canada 賣緊$240.
HK 先賣$170..我等番到HK即刻走去買 :D

其實last week they alreaedy told me that I'm invited to a dinner in an Italian restaurant on tmr night
so my host parents will drive me to there and celebrate her birthday
好野,I love Italian pasta :)
and next Sunday will go to her daughter's new house for party.
好開心
hoho...唯一帶來的連身裙tmr 可以穿了hohoo..

v. happy she likes it cuz I spent so much time for her bday present.

cuz much cheaper and classmates said last yr the show in hk was very good

then he said: no, just sit is ok.
(我到現在都不明白為何不在椅上聽肺but on bed..)
...after diagnosis...

Doctor: it's common...of what u have...
I said my throat was very painful and i have much phlegm
Doctor: it's very common for a cold..
I said: i found a little blood in my phlegm...
Doctor: it's common even if sometimes u see blood..

(yea,even I die, it's common)

i also have to tell u how cheap my ied classmates are anyway...

yesterday really snow...at least an inch thick of snow when I got up
feeling excited
took some pictures in YorkU..with snowy ground
but now I got sore throat, fever, the whole body's aching
I feel so sick...
I didnt' go to school practicum today.
yesterday -3, today -7

now I still feeling so sick...................
maybe after dinner i'll take a panadol.
I feel worried...now I go to bed...i've been staying on bed since 730am.....
無一次唔係臨尾香...just several ten days left.....
i hope i'll get well soon.

today 11 degrees...uncle ironically 說it's hot today.
yea...相比起先前的1,2 度
but the coming weekend will drop to -4degrees.
so I dont know..
我見過雪我已經好滿足了anyway...

今日終於完了Drama teachable
非常的高興
cuz I'm longing for it
and it 's even better than I expected
and v. impressive.

from the 1st two lessons I couldn't even get what they 're talking abt
to now we're almost fully engaged
I feel really proud and grateful

for me it's a great challenge cuz the local students are much different from Chinese
they're v. active,轉數快,constructive ideas, positve, enthusiastic and love to express
最重要係they're really concentrate and respect others when listening to the lecture
I like this kind of learning so much.
我還記得有次5個人一組
the lightest one stands at the front and the heaviest at the back.
and then we played "Fire!Fire!Fire!"
遊戲就是the heaviest rescue the lightest in a fire accident...限時鬥快
然後我就要叫"Fire!Fire!Fire!"
I felt scared..becos I know I'm going to be lift up by that big and tall girl...
I'm afraid not becos I know I 'll be lift up
but I worried that my weight hurt her

然後遊戲開始
她二話不說已經背起我跑
oh my god
我還是第一次俾人俾起
不過因為鬥快..所以將我撐起時都整痛我
上膊時候我看到她都有點吃力...始終我都有幾十公斤woo..
不過背上了後就順利得多

and then 不特止
after one girl
then two girls 合力抬起我
and then 3 girls
最後4 girls
god...真的是任人擺佈...
4肢一人hold 一樣
我就算著sweater 牛仔都走晒光

不過這裡的人沒有HK 那樣色狼
no matter boys or girls
u feel much natural and better
他們不會故意去看
就算看到也不當一回事
女孩子也不會嬌揉做作,不會怕辛苦怕整親

(其實在公車上也很少有博懵的事..doesnt like HK ppl...sigh)

drama 入面我覺得自己更加放膽投入
this is my goal.
我學到好多有趣and inspiring drama teaching skills
現在我學會如何construct drama lesson plan
好實用好有趣好正
oh yeah
真好彩抽中drama..becos only 5/23 can take drama.
那時grace 因為Timetable 想有day off還說要跟人換
現在都說幸好沒有換掉
cuz it's really a super fun

最可惜是the 1st semester the lecturer teaches grade 9&10 drama
next sem is grade 11&12
但是我們都要走了
otherwise maybe we can learn some backstage skills..etc.

next week is the last lesson...in fact today is the last already
Ms. Lorna Willson asked us to come and we could have some nice chat after lesson
I asked if she could provide me some materials for sem2
其實grade11,12 is similar to F.6,7
不過我都有興趣想知點教
等我寫番張卡俾Ms. Lorna Willson sin~ she 's so gd to me :)

人同電腦一齊中毒...,,
因為Grace 知道我最近有時不夠吃要捱餓
之前thur 剩飯d paste 其實just enough for dinner..but when i just put half of
them in my plate then I said oh I need to bring lunch to Jarvis tmr..
然後auntie 說,that's gd...then u just bring the remaining to school
T_T其實我lum 住食晒ga..just the plate not big, 我分2次盛...

我心想....如果我食埋remaining聽日就mud 都無得食...我其實可以買
不過Jarvis 好大,我試過get lost when I search for canteen.
穩陣起見還是bring sth first
惟有two meals share one.
sigh.
然後..fill up my lunch box it was just 1/3 of the box..
最後帶多個apple
這就是我的lunch.
so 實習那日I felt quite sick...cuz just slept 4 hrs and little for lunch

最近intake 唔多...
初初來的時候是因為不停食salad 很少肉唔慣又不夠飽.
第一晚我在Toronto 落機..因為taxi driver & YorkU 之間argument 問題
我幾乎最遲那個才到host..it was already 11pm
and na.....auntie just gave me a piece of toast.
the first night 我就沒有dinner 了...since I had the last meal at 5 or 6pm on the plan
別人問y dont u ask them...
但是如果imagine 你第一日到陌生人家裡and then they said:"Are you ok with this?(1 toast) becos I feel so tired now)"
你還好意思叫人煮俾你嗎...

我gum 大個女還是第一次餓到o咸
我在家怎會捱餓
每日多少差異只在乎於家中有沒有零食而不是不夠正餐.
後來2 weeks later I feel much better...cuz there's meat
然後everything's so gd

不過突然又發生了不見東西的事情
本來關係很好但後來他們開始變得很神經質
due to this 我也受到影響變得緊張&閃縮
其實我沒有做到虧心事但是行為都讓人覺得我身有C
now I stay in room all the time and dare not go downstair at night even I feel hungry
費是他們再開anti-burglar alarm

these 2 weeks they didn't turn on again and attitude seem much better than before
maybe they found the object already. I'm not sure
不過尋日又監視住我
我只是照平時洗dishes 抹kitchen desk & table
he said what 're u doing..it takes so long time.
我覺得啞口無言..我一向都take an hr ga la...唔係個kitchen 點會gum clean
finally 我還是很有耐性解釋一次點解我"gum 耐"(雖然我不認為it's 耐)
我話table is so sticky 所以我要抹一抹先得
otherwise later will be difficult to remove

我覺得自己...I won't say 自己脾氣好..but I'll say 其實很好耐性的...
我的香港學生都有這麼說過 :D
唔知點解現在 everytime I think of my students I feel so sweet abt them
I really think they are so cute.
esp the one in Canada...
everytime I think of them I will really smile
although i dont look like a teacher...不過這是時間的問題...
when I get older, it will come with more respect
now we're just like friends.
I like those boys. they're so funny
esp those from Africa...last time 他們解釋their sign language which always appear in hiphop dancing
我覺得他們真的很有天分..他們反應很快

然後個個同學仔都問我意見becos they're doing a project
it's a poster introducing himself as a competitive in an election
so they are asking for citizen's support and vote for them
in this project they have to make promise like : I promise u I will improve education system
他們問我這個ok ma?
我話ok..but how can u improve the ed. system? u need to explain it...
they said I'll give them everything for free
笑死我...我話be more practical 佢地都唔制,...話總之就free la!
我話no one is gonna believe u...the government doesnt have so much $$$!!

然後得閒時就chat with them...I said how old are u guys.
and they told me they 're 16..but they are just v. innocent.
這裡有些18 的了只不過剛剛immigrate to Canada Eng 不好


Anyway Grace 所以拿了很多chocolate 給我
but that's a chocolate that contains high energy and caffeine
我不知道下上堂時候就係度食
起初看見個名叫redrush 也覺得有點奇怪
我想我都是太大意
不知道它跟redbull more or less the same....
落堂又食...食到了第3,4才看看包裝先知大鑊....

不知道是不是心理作用..我在車上有點點想作嘔
後來好像overdose 一樣中毒 need to lay on bed
now I feel much better

電腦同時中了很強的毒
我fix up 自己之後現在又要fix 埋部腦
sigh. finally all fine now.

i still have not more than a month then return to hk..
this yr xmas 我一定要食Xmas 大餐
and 一落機即刻買好多好多零食
這裡$100只夠買2,3包餅lor..但通常買了之後我都是送給host and fds.
自己現在收埋包餅for 真係hungry時候食

I won't cry for hunger anymore. cuz I'll return v. soon
I chat with parents and they were not happy abt the starving.

the tutor today knew abt it and 很大反應
其實我只是隨口說and she report to someone at once
沒有想過她會這麼大反應.
總之我話I dont wanna ruin the relationship....so far we're gd.
希望唔好搞大鑊野出來, i feel unease
cuz 我從來都沒有直接說清楚我唔夠飽.
而且不是經常這樣...just happen once abt a week per month..


今天買了Xmas stamps
it's so pretty.
but HKD$80 just for 6
it's v. expensive compare to $1.4 stamp in HK
but I'm gonna buy some Xmas cards/post cards and send them out before I leave

如果之後那餘下的日子風平浪靜又一day 我就好滿足了

最得人驚的事是.................大家一致認同有錢剩想再買過.

我想看歌劇..
香港的theatre...同這裡的theatre真是無得比..that's y I wanna watch them
保證無人陪要自己去
他們說貴...
所以I always say only 價值觀相同的人會比較容易一齊
cuz 我覺得值得,他們可能覺得有其他野更值得
這裡實際好多...鍾意食飯的會不停在餐館流連,like clothing 會到shopping mall
好似我就...um um..好難講...總之買3就no interest...cuz my luggage 好擔心

還是好好替自己打算as auntie said enjoy urself 好過

有胡桃夾子 (ballet) $41 or White Christmas (opera) $37...那是最便宜的price..others can come up to a hundred sth.
但都可以買很多貼紙again..:p

pling: 哈哈你又知? by the time u leave me this msg, I've already thought about it for 5 times already. I have to call u guys..but the time always not gd. cus after watching tv it's abt 12
or the next day when i wake up i either rushing for sch or it's already 12am in HK.
Especially these few weeks are assignment period. I just finished one big assignment.
anyway, I have to buy new phone card to ring u becos the card i'm using not it doesnt work. So i can't ring to mum either...sigh.

oh pink jacket 我有時穿我都覺得唔好意思..cuz it's too sharp 不過我驚死所以if 我報警I'll say the sharp pink is me....as it's so eye-catching
btw, I have some post cards here ready for long. that's y i said i want to ring u becos i need to have the address.
I'll call u around the end of the month becos that time I'll finish all the assignments and very free to play

I was waiting for auntie and uncle.....cuz i was really scared.........i didn't know y
i knew he wouldn't hurt me. but it was my intuition that I didn't feel gd about him.
he was coming up...saying hello many times.
I pretended i didn't hear it.......

finally I came out..and he was right there next door...saying Hello loudly
and inevitably i walked into uncle's office i said hello...

he sat on uncle's office chair and turn around I found

luckily auntie and uncle returned home...as i remember they yesterday night told me they would be back at abt noon..

他們回來後俾我故中他都立即穿回衣服

here shows some of my high school where i had the school practicum...they 're so cute :D
this school is the 2nd oldest sch in toronto. it was founded in 1807..wow, 200 yrs already.
the one behind (white hair) is my support teaching Mr. Colwell
in fact I have 3 classes..I wanted to take with the other 2 classes...
但是再外國想同class children take picture is not that easy ...要問,要permission,有點麻煩
just like when they have assembly..i'm not allowed to take picture in the hall...
所以遲些再同其他2班take 埋.
佢地乖過HK's band 2,3 students ga..dont just look at their funny postures :p

oh yea. Thursday we skipped lesson as language partner skipped. she's not here so we wont' go either

anyway. a holiday for me and i just arrange the picture and make a slide show

聽日實習
i have to take pic with them in Dec..the youngsters are so cute I like them....particularly the Korean boys and girls..what a funny accent :p

I still have about a month in Canada...hope everything's gd
snow...I'm thinking about skating and skiing..I really really really want to ski !!!!!!

probably their son would.....though i dont like him ...i can't say i dont like him
just i feel scared of him...
he's a gd guy...just over-ethusiastic to ppl...

last time , a few days ago i almost cold death on street in campus...cuz the bus didn't come
and big rain
I wait 30 mins...
when i returned
he gave me his cell phone saying that next time if it happens again just ring him and he could pick up me at YorkU.

I feel grateful but I will never ring him :D HAHAHA.....cuz I can wait for the bus except I really in emergency. touch wood.............

In Canada...even crying on street...is not as that embarrassing as you do in HK.
No one's looking at you.....they dont bother....
