:::::::::::: A Missed day-off :::::::::::::::

Weather turns warm again. I like this weather, feeling comfortable with warm sunshine.
However, I do like cold winter; winter should be cold in HK, shouldn't it?

Doze off in Hu bio class again!!!><
How come.... I really want to concentrate; the contents are interesting, why I am like that?!
I really hate myself.

Take a nap after going back to hostel.
When I arrive at the NAH, there is a notice posted on the door saying the class has been cancelled....I should have a half day off then!
But bygones are bygones; I can’t get it back anyway.

Back to hostel and practise flute. Feeling quite good.
Little improvement for scales, still there are a lot of hesitation; the 1st time is always bad.
I should overcome that as soon as possible. There is no trial for me during the exam.

Watching 'Step Up' after practice.
Thanks Panda for lending me the VCD. It is really a good movie!!
Love it soooooooo much ^^

Now time for me to back to my revision, so much for me to catch up!

Only have single lesson today, coz lab would only starts the week after next.
The class starts at 11:30a.m., I prefer it to be earlier, but have no choice ma.
Get up at 8:30a.m. and practise flute. Still can’t memorize scales well, especially minor scales.

Then surfing on web.
一口氣睇左好多日既diary! =]

Today talks about the development of foregut. Quite complicated.
Prof. Chan asks if there anything we would like to improve about the course, we answer— Having mid-term!
Hahaa~ It is really stressed to have 100% for a single exam! And the contents covered are too much to be studied!!

Filling in forms for the service awards, I don't think I am competent for that. Just give a try.

Having nothing to do, I had better do some revision before having private tutorial la.
Tonight will have free宵夜lei!
Gonna skip dinner an reserve my stomach for it~hahaaa

Get up at 8:30 and read anatomy textbook. Sometimes I doubt whether it is useful reading it (but not memorizing or reciting the content….)
Physi lesson talks about visual and auditory systems, quite interesting ar!

Lunch with 組爸and victor at reading room.
Then go to NAH to have legal translation.
When I arrived, there is a notice tapped on the door saying the class has been cancelled….
If I knew it earlier, I would have spent my time better as I would have half day off!!

Back to hostel.
Not enough time to practise flute, so simply take a nap.
Go to get my new pair of glasses before having tutorial.

Tutorial of today is rather tui actually. Just observing my student doing sentence reconstruction (重組句子).
Back to hostel and cook myself dinner.
Have kiwi for 'dessert', it is very sweet ar!! ^^

No revision for today, lazy ada....

When I see there are so many people in the room, I think I have entered the wrong one; but then I see Maggie, JC, Jessica.... are there, I confirm that I do enter the right one.
It is strange that we combine FNS to have physic class ar, last semester we separate it ga ma and all of a sudden, it combine again!!
I like small class, which is more interactive and much closer for classmates.
However, the most important point is, the curving problem!!!
Prof. said FNS students all had his lectures 2 years ago!! (when they were year 1)
And the content of this course overlaps with their year 1 course; in addition to that, their year 1 syllabus was much intensive and covers much more.
O…then we would be totally被屈機!!!><

Lunch meeting for evaluation.
Then go to NAH to have legal translation class.
It is really scary; I mean the course is really challenging. And I don't have any bases for legal translation, how can I be a patch for the major students?

When we are having cheese cake at food court, Victor calls saying sem 1 exam report has been released. He does quite good la but I can't check mine ma.
Later, alice calls and I ask her to help me check my GPA.
She screams and asks me to 請佢食飯, when I hear my grade and GPA, I nearly cry.
It is too good to be truth.
I have never thought about it and can't imagine it actually!
Some how I doubt whether Professors 加多左分.
How come D. Bio would get an A! :o
Vivian, a year 3 student, got the highest mark in mid-term. My marks are 10 less then hers, how come it turns out like that?
I don’t know her grade, but it can't be me to get an A.

I thought I screwed sign language exam after taking it.
It is so unexpected that I get another A from it, it is encouraging. And I did enjoy every lesson.

Anatomy is another miracle.
My lab exam suck coz I almost know nothing for histology (though growths part is quite good), and it contribute 20 questions (in total there are 50 questions).
And I can still have B+, it is so nice! Thanks God.
Ana written exam was another disaster. 3-hour-exam was a torture, coz I wrote too few for each essay questions.
I did well in embryology. But growths part sucks! Only 3 sentences written for thymus....
And it turns out I got A-, how come?!
It is really a mystery.

It feels that my hard work do pays off.
Actually, it is much more than what I have sowed.
And I am really thankful for all I have.

Get up at 7:30a.m., and sit in 8:30am PTH class.
Nearly all students in class know mandarin, 屈機大計spoiled….
But never mind la, it is still good to learn mandarin after putting it down for so many years.

Soon after PTH, I need to rush from CC to BMSB.
Hope I can catch the school shuttle every time if I can add this course successfully.

First anatomy lecture in 2009 with a new classmate joining us!

Back to hostel after class and have cup noodles for lunch.
Then take a nap. Nightmare….><

Ana lab in the afternoon. Finish at 4:00a.m. coz not much slides to observe.
Some of us have to join the life science forum discussing the future admission scheme for biology, biochemisty and biotech.
Probably next year, the 3 subject would group together for candidate to apply and until the 2nd year of their study they would have to declare their major.
I wonder would hu. Bio be closed then?!

Back to hostel and work on the microscope photos I take during lab.
Using photoshop to label different part, so great!!!
Need to add oil in this semester la, can't let the history to repeat again!

Looking forward to tomorrow night, dinner with 敏敏lei!

Still in holiday mood not ready for school. But I can’t skip lesson la, I am a good student ma~:p
After hu. Bio lesson, busy of add drop stuff.

Need to go to department for dropping environmental health. I am told to go to ENS department to get the chop from them coz the course is opened by them.
When I arrive at ENS office, the staff said I need to find the course professor for her signature coz they would like to know why student drop out.
So trouble.
As prof. is having classes, I got to RGS office to ask about adding TRA course.
I am told to go to TRA department to get a form; when I arrived, the staff responsible for undergraduate programme said they don’t have the form and I have to go to RGS to get it.
So back to RGS again; the lady is helpful, she helps me call the department and explains everything to them.
She then fax the form to department and ask me to get it later.

Hea in reading room. Evelyn, Victor an Leo are also there waiting for next lesson.
Go to have tutorial, just help her with word spelling.
Back to CU and call the TRA office see if the form is ready but the staff said they haven't received the form yet.

So I go to have the major add/drop form signed first.
Prof. Lee does not ask me why I drop out, she simply sign the form for me. Perhaps I am not ENS major student la.

Go to RGS to hand in the form. I again have to trouble that lady. She call TRA department once and explain the situation.
After a while, I am told to print the email and go to department to get the form.
When I arrive, I wait for around half an hour!!><

Finally Dr. Wang comes and explains to me the difficulties I face in taking legal translation.
I admit that to me, a non-major student, skipping the basic course and take the advance one is great disadvantage.
I know the grade would never be good. But just above C+ would be okay to me (Can't afford another C+ no matter which subjects I take)

Having the add/drop stuffs done, tired!
It is just a start. Much more challenges ahead in the coming semester.
Hope I can have good time management and complete my duties well.

Somehow feel that turning to a new year is only a game of numbers.
I remember I used to have a list of New Year resolution.
But this year I am not going to make one.
Why?
If the target is too big, when it turns out to be ‘failed’ in the end, I feel disappointed.
If it is too small, why not just do it every day?
I simply hope that I try my best every day in every thing.

Have good sleep last night.
Finally have two REAL holidays!! Yeah!!
I enjoy 無所事事 and I should treasure the time of hea I can have. Coz when I start working, it is not possible to hea anymore la.

I am not getting excited of New Year like when I was in secondary school.
Is this the effect of getting older??

Time files!
It seems it is not long ago that I started a new file of year 08 Jan diary and today it is the end of 2008.

I like 2008.
Simply because I like this no. combination (hahaaa~~ another magic no. for me! :p)
And it is quite special because we have 1 more second for 2008!! Yo~~

Get up at 8:00AM and last day work for the PTH drama course.
Final rehearsal for the kids, one group is not able to complete their play before their performance in front of the parents.
Today they have got some emotional problem; I guess they are somehow too nervous and stressed.

The plays are okay, though some scenes are missed, they have tried their best anyway.

Private tutorial, leave 10 mins early coz I suffer from serious menstruation pain.
The bus and mini bus journey back home is really a torture!
Finally arrive home and take panador immediately. When I look into the mirror, my face and lip are pale..... How come this time it is so serious.....
Luckily the pain relieve after taking the pills.

Spend my whole night on sewing a dog mouse pad cushion.
Finally finish around 1:00AM.

These days are really busy and no time to type 2008 reviews.
Am I going to make one some days later?

Hea in home and take a rest, originally have tutorial this afternoon but was cancelled by my student.

Feeling dizzy and take a nap.
Join others in Plaza Hollywood after buying a CD for mum.

We window-shop there and buy tonight's food.
Got sushi an pizza, great! ^^

Go to game center to play 掟波波and photo-hunt to kill time as we have to wait for the food to be prepared.

Nice time at Fung's home ^^
Can't believe that it is Yuwa first time to play monopoly!!
Despite his inexperience, he won!! Wow~~~

Crystal little secret is soooooo funny!! Hahaaa
Really surprising!

Leave at 11:30, of course miss last shuttle and have to walk up to Five High.
So tired and walk in snail speed~:p
