Get up at 7:30, not sleeping well again.

Hand in gen mic essay lu, so good.
Doze off during the second lesson again!><

Follow lab, no need to do all the expt, just by observing the morphology and some simple biochemical test we are able to deduce the answer.
It is E. coli!!!
Finish much earlier than expected.
Go to Dis. Lab, I am surprised so many people there. They are all plastic surgeons.
Can’t identify pronator teres and the anterior muscle of thigh, need to pay much attention in next week revision lab.
Later, a crew comes. They take video of a prof's method of surgery.

Thanks 程爺for telling me where is the jugular foramen and hypoglossal canal is，now can identify all the structures of and on skull la.
But muscle still need to work harder.
Find Evenly’s file on the side bench, call her and it is really hers. Take the file for her (she tells me that she has lost it for a week and doesn't know where it has gone when I meet her. Lucky me~hee)

After printing notes, go to have lunch, I don't know why I want to have lunch, just feel like doing.

Now have to take a short rest and continue with my physi revision and starting reading the 2 D.bio papers! I hate genes.....

今日又剖屍la!
同Med 1既lab session撞正，所以我地移師去工作室度剖，o個度環境仲好ar!=]

上次開左rib cage，今次就要攞埋入面d野出黎。
個肺好難攞ar，victor勁大力咁扯，都搞左好耐，佢手套仲要穿完又穿。
個肺實在有太多connective tissue connect住，有blade都無用，要靠伸隻手入去feel同整斷d CT，所以隻手細係好ga，伸到入去又靈活d，不過就唔夠力扯佢出黎lor，所以都幾矛盾下~:p
幾經辛苦，終於攞左個肺出黎，跟住就係洗肺喇，無洗豬肺咁複雜la~hahaaa

同學仔去攞個心出黎，我同maggie就remove lung既parietal membrane。
Victor係專業洗心同肺ar!
好多「人紅」……

睇晒d野就張d organs還完再present，咁就完成今個sem既剖屍lu。
下個sem (其實只係4個星期後)再同呢條屍做朋友，剖埋digestive system。

我之前都以為剖屍會好核突，不過對住佢原來無乜感覺。
Preserve左係無臭味得preservative既藥水味，同埋好似假人咁，不過睇到「新鮮」既specimen同平時上堂睇d塑化左既又真係唔同ge，最少大家續part攞出黎，會清楚d位置好多，同埋點揾d nerves, Bv。

做完course evaluation就返宿喇。
瞓左陣又夠鐘上堂lu。

繼續resp.，真係唔易，原來好多mechanism，同physics, chem關係絕對密切，中六七學既完全係over-simplified model!
不過我都係覺得Cardiac 深d。

補習去，去到學生又唔記得左要補習出左去睇牙醫，白行一趟。
返宿前去零食物語買左d糖，有d for master ge，好似兩個星期無理過master la。

食包包做晚餐。
睇完電視就温書喇。終於睇過既Dr. Poon既notes一次，不過睇同記得係兩回事黎……仲有大打要追!

中一的時候讀這篇課文，忘了怎背了，故事內容到記得，是習慣了房內有一lon，久而久之覺得係平地，到填返個lon時又唔習慣。

很多東西會習慣的，快學期結束，
習慣面到源源不絕的lab reports, labs, homework；
習慣面對一追再追也追不上的科程內容；
習慣了每天晚睡早起；
習慣了每天趕頭趕命的生活；
習慣一星期補習四天……..

但我沒有習慣上課不睡覺!!!!!
今日上gen mic同d bio是完完全全的死了!!!
真的很生自己的氣!

Med can食早餐+lunch，遇見Prof. Chan，佢同我講byebye時我咬住塊火腿，場面有點尷尬~hahaaaa
返宿練笛，即使音準了，拍子對了，但就是毫無感覺，就像是機械式的吹着(當然沒有機械式的準確無誤!)
是太累了嗎?

睡了一會便pre-lab，跟住就去做gen mic最後一次lab了。
這個lab有點戰戰競競地做，若然有errors，identify唔到隻sample bacteria係乜，就乜分到無…..灰。
希望無事啦。

跟幾個hu bio人仔去med can吹水，返宿後就温書書啦。
太耐無温書了，但先整理好星期三follow lab的flow，分類寫左係一張紙度到時就唔駛係7,8份pre-lab talks左揾又揾喇。
追趕physi，respiration唔係好明alveolar partial pressure of O2……:(

希望今晚可以睇下d bio兩份paper，再唔做死得!
但仲要温ana wor，聽日剖屍!

Get up at 8:30.
A bit late for church.

My pair of glasses is broken and it is annoying keep fixing it....
Doze off frequently during Sunday school, naughty ada....

Back to CU directly, late lunch at CC can.
That 福建炒飯 is of KING size; after eating half of it I am already FULL.
It can be consumed for 2 dishes la!

Back to hostel and do lab WS. No data for a session, leave it blank.
Continue a bit with gen mic essay.
Then take a nap, too tired la.
Finally finish gen mic essay, I think the last paragraph is a bit unorganized, perhaps leave it for tomorrow, let it cool down for some time and then when look back, can improve the content la.

Have to take sign language video, pre-lab, do physic lab WS and revision.
Tones of things to be finished....

Starting working on gen mic essay last night but not yet finished, continue with the work this morning.
Don't even recognize it is already 11:00a.m.! (I said I would meet Vivien at school entrance at 10:50 ma! Soooo sorry~~~)

Back at 11:30a.m., the sharing session overrun, I do not squeeze in until the self-introduction part ends.
I do not go back for sharing just for having lunch with Vivien ja ma~:p
Ryan is back too! His new hair style is less MK-like~hahaaa

Overrun, I don't like overrunning....
Postpone tutorial half an hour, lunch with Vivien at大婆.

I really need to go back to see you and meet lukluk la. Today when I meet Paul, he ask whether I study the same subject as Fung does and Ms Ho ask the same thing.
I should have called lukluk back in early September about my decision, but at that time I thought I could go back and visit him so leave that alone.
Life of year 2 is too busy that I can't find really a time to go back so perhaps he thinks I have chosen CU gwa.

Tutorial and back home to practise flute. I called off today's flute lesson as I only practise for 2 times this week which is undoubtedly insufficient!!

Originally we planned to do hot pot but the weather is too hot la so just have take away dinner.
Played mahjong with Crystal, Fung and Kei, All of them are expert la while I am green.
Don't know what should I do, auntie kindly helped me by giving me instruction which to take and which to give up~:p

Watch TVB ceremony, Crystal scream several times for 林峯~hahaaa
The prize distribution is not surprising, I really like 王祖藍’s thank you speech, so great!!hahaa

Back home and type the script for sign language video.
Go to bed late again....

又有數天沒有打日記，實在是太忙了。
書越積越多，考試進一步逼近，但温習進度仍是零……
Lab report永無止境，一份未交一份又出，做到想死，慶幸不是long report，但當一個星期有3-4份short report，在沒有sources的情況下，抵得上兩份long report!

今天起來，很累。
閃過要走堂的念頭，可是我沒膽。
結果上課仍是呆呆滯滯的，不知道那些是重點….唉。

Follow lab，一次過follow 3個，多野做到想死!
Follow了一個半鐘!
很累，但趕回宿拿生日會的零食便去SC了。Maggie更辛苦了，衝左落火車站攞蛋糕上黎……

Bio的人果然係蝗蟲，不消十五份鐘便把所有pizza、飯、意粉、蛋糕加零食一掃而空!
但我也有備而戰，預先留了一盒pizza和飯給莊員們~kee

Pizza House既叔叔很搞笑，漏了pizza袋係我地度完全唔記得左，到黎攞返時，又唔知道要收我地錢。係Feli叫住佢啦。
佢仲話：「我唔知幾多錢ga wor」
我地其實可以食霸王餐了，咁生日會就會首次賺錢~wakakaaaa

不過，我地都係誠實既朋友仔，當然唔知啦。
大家食完我地善後之後就去reading room食野。

今日anatomy剖屍呀!好興奮!
不過條屍好瘦ar，好似好慘咁。
同埋我地第一次部，起皮時cut到pectoralis major既muscle，覺得佢咁唔pro地被解剖好慘or!

穿左pleural cavity，好多水嘔出黎呀!wa!
原來部屍有男仔好重要ga，開ribs係要用係咁扯呀扯，Dr. Poon都幫手用力扯!

企左兩個鐘上堂真係勁攰，不過休息左半個鐘又要去補習……
沒法子，沒有錢嘛。

在回程路上總算把bones的notes記好，但不知記憶能短暫維持多久……
McDonald’s的包包加蘋果批做晚餐，夜晚又要練習舍音盃了，真的好累。

廿萬樣野未做，聽日要死掂兩份lab report，gen mic essay還沒動工，下下星期便考試，好大壓力，一日三十六小時不眠不休都唔夠我死掂佢……

Yesterday night have nightmare.
It is about gen mic lab. Being scold of during the procedures wrongly and have to retake the lab....
Will I really need to retake the lab?
The lab exam is on 1st Dec, there are so much to be memorized but I have not yet started studying them....doomed.

Get up at 7:30a.m. Nice weather.
It is like the weather in LA when I went there this summer. Cool but sunny. I like it so much.
Doze off in D. Bio class, how come....

Back to hostel and immediately take a nap.
Then practise flute. The songs to be practised are much longer, which make me somewhat have an 'indigestible' feeling.

Gen mic lab.
Don’t know why we have to repeat exactly the same experiment of lab 10. The only difference is using 2 new bacteria for streaking. What is the purpose?
As usual, finish the lab early but the follow lab is very troublesome and time consuming la.
Have to do it anyway.

Go to Park'n Shop to buy milk and then back to hostel lu.
Check gen mic mid-term result, I only got 33.4/42!! ><
The highest mark is obtained by a year 3 student— 40.95!!! 屈機的!!

I am just slightly above mean (~30), and most people ( I guess around 50 people )got higher marks than I do and one got the same marks as me.
Ar....there would be a B- for me even if I do not screw my final up.
And the probability of screwing that up is unfortunately HIGH!

My task list items never disappear; even one task is completed, another or more would replace its ‘vacancy’, and thus it is always full...gloomed.

Longing for holiday! But it never come....
You know, in such a 'hard-working' university, this year, we have our Christmas holiday exactly the SAME as primary and secondary school!
New semester starts at 5th Jan while all other uni have their holiday end in END of JAN!!!!
And during holiday, I am supposed to get familiarized with the ana and physic stuff for sem 2 in preparation for choosing FYP….sigh.

Today ana class is okay, just a simplified copy of D.bio.
But it is new and interesting to learn analyzing the ultrasound photograph of fetus and look at their photos at different stage.

Overrun quite a lot. After class go to find Prof. Kwan, I am lucky enough to come across him in the corridor.
Have some direction in searching the landmark paper, still have a lot of work to do.

Feli and Maggie are super-angry because of someone.
Calm down….He is notorious for that for a long time ga la.

Rush down to CC to have sign language class.
Today learn about interests and sports. So many terms and they are very interesting!!

Hea in reading room and have physi lab lu.
The lab ends at 4:00 and back to hostel. I only study 2 pages of D. bio notes before I surround to sleepiness….><

Receive phone call from my student’s mother saying her daughter ask to call off tutorial of today a step before going out!
Some student sometimes are really trouble, and I really hate interrupting my schedule so much.

So go online searching for appropriate paper, finally got one. Hopefully, Prof. Kwan would approve it. So I can start working on it ASAP.

Hope I can finish studying Ch 9 of D bio tonight (you know what, we are now teaching Ch 14 already!!!!:o)
And there are piles of physic notes waiting for me….doomed.

Finally decide which paper to pick for the paper summary. But still have to find a landmark paper la.

Not sleeping well last night. Feeling very tired when getting up. The idea of skipping class flips through my mind but of course I won't skip lesson la.
Magically, I do not doze off in gen mic lecture!!! Big improvement~ but have to keep it up is difficult....

After class, go to follow lab. The result seems quite ok.
Practise flute, too tired and dozed off.....=.=''
Lunch with 組爸, Maggie and 月,so happy! ^^

A big crowd in 百萬大道 because today is the Joint-U dance show la.
Go to U lib in order to print notes and paper but all computers are being occupied, so have to go to 碧秋lu.
The computer there also can' print my paper ar, seek help from student helper, he also can't solve the problem.
I have to go to Sci Direct to download the paper in order to print it out successfully.

Ana class talks about respiratory system.
Really 'fed up' when the class ends.
So many terms, functions and drugs action have to be remember, killing me.

Go to find Prof. Kwan but he is not there, so hea in reading room for lab report, zero progress. Try my luck once before having tutorial, still he is not backed yet.

Back to hostel and on time for joining十宿糖水會, try 腐竹糖水、蕃薯糖水、紅豆沙and西米露。I like 朱古力米通made by 五低most!!!
Really want to know the recipe!

Back to hostel to do my lab report.
Thanks Maggie for sending me the pre-lab talk. Don't know what is the problem with my gmail account, I can't receive email from Rebecca!
And a small square is equivalent to 0.04s instead of 0.05s, so I have to count all the values once....
I know I deserve it but it is really frustrating.

I thought after mid-term-month, life in Nov would be easier. It turns out that it is much breath taking.
Sept and Oct are busy because of continuous revision; Nov is busy because of ‘endless’ deadlines to meet and NO TIME FOR REVISION!
I hate that soooooooooo much!
Coz I am having exam on 1st Dec!!!!!!!! I can't screw my GPA up again, I don't want to graduate without honor ar.....
Stressed....

Wake up at 6:00 something in the morning and sleep again, but soon I wake up again....
Just hea on my bed until 7:30.

I finally do not doze off in gen mic class la. But I guess it is just because today is a single lecture.
I AGAIN distracted during D. bio class. Should add much oil la, it is the first subject in the centralized exam schedule.

Raining heavily after class. Thanks Victor遮我去到Franklin.
Go to the HSB to settle the credit card debt and then go to Park'n Shop to buy soya milk and food.
It is still raining like cats and dogs. I only have a jacket with me, so use it as a cover la.
My lower limbs are soaked....

People are using music room as study room again....I hate that....
Book the room for later session. Practise flute, not really good, the fingerings is not synchronized.

Lunch with a slice of ham and bread. Then head for gen mic lab lu.
Come across 浩然at the lift. He is surprised to see me in this lab session,爸爸唔記得左我係hu bio la....:(

As 組爸has mentioned, today's lab is short, as we only inoculate bacteria and wait for incubation. So.... we finish the lab at 3:30PM!!!
Wow~~~ an new record!!!
But the follow lab would last longer la, which is fair.

Go to Dis lab and revise for anatomy.
Many Med 1 students are doing postmortem examination. See Florance and tell her I want to do revision there.
Got a box of bones for revision. Still have a lot to remember la.
No muscle specimen available, just squeeze into nursing specimen displaying aside, able to distinct pectoralis major, trapezius, Latissimus dorsi, levator scapulae, rhomboid muscles.
Also, the Rectus abdominis, Rectus sheath, tendinous intersection, linea alba, external, internal and transverse oblique abdominis, posas major, quadratus lumborum, lliacus after Dr. Poon's revision with us last Tue.
Great~
However, still have to work harder on spelling.
Now I can remember and recognize the locations of muscle and bones but usually can't spell their name correctly and memorize their function well.

Now have to finish sign language hw la.
I would be very happy if I could finish choosing a recent paper for D. Bio project tonight and revise on physic/ana.
