感恩的心讓人常 樂

this is how i feel this morning :)

我發現

當有感恩的心時

它一定會跟快樂連在一起

像影子一樣

我未曾發現

當我心存感恩時

會產生不快樂的心

希望我能繼續發展感恩的心

讓它茁壯成長

:)))))))

( I know it sounds christian, but i don't have any religion and in fact, 'gratefulness' is an universal quality that doesn't belong to any religion :P)

wake up 7, one hour meditation --> qin lesson --> beauty salon -> work + work + work + work --> dinner with friend --> drink --> one hour medtation

but it is a productive day

開開心心

今早起來心情仍然興奮

主要應該來自仍然非常感恩的心吧

但我得提醒自己

this grateful pleasant happiness sensation will exist and seems to last for some time

but it will also bound to change

去了朋友的生日會

他的一位朋友借出家讓他開生日會

第一次去了位於山頂最高的街的豪宅

屋內居然有一部共五層高的電梯

由於我的朋友遲到了

所以當我抵達時只有我跟法國人屋主和另外一位西伯利亞人

我並不認識他們倆

但屋主超 nice and welcoming

他正在吃 museli yogurt mix

便很隨意的在抽屜拿出一只匙給我試他的 yogurt mix

完全沒架子

這跟我最近經常收到一位很喜歡 show off 的人的 whatapps 形成強烈對比

也讓我想起 j class 客一般比頭等客麻煩很多

今天生日會的賓客有很多類型

有年輕的匈牙利男 model, 拉脫維亞女model

有超高大俊朗的澳洲男生

其他國籍還包括日本, 夏威夷, 伊拉克, 巴西, slovenia, thai 等

我是唯一一位土生土長的香港女子

我發現我很喜歡英語不是母語, 而又很 proud of 自己國家語言的人

今天的 crowd

比我另外一些朋友的 crowd - 從事投資行業的 bankers ABC 們好多了

今天的人都非常非常 down to earth

晚上我們去了賽馬會吃晚飯

朋友說這club 只 for voting member

在會所門外

我看見一位坐著像何鴻燊那種的汽車坐位電動輪椅從車上降下

在電梯裡

我聽見其中一位老人家的家人跟他說話

但他不能太清晰的表達自己

在餐廳門外

我看見長長一列的椅子

很多老人家坐著等位

看到這種情境

讓我想起深水埗的長者們

其實

雖然他們所擁有的財富不同

但大家也同樣地經歷年老

看著他們

還有今早在那豪宅所見的人

突然讓我很感恩

我知道

能 come into contact with vipassana and develop in it

實在都比成為世界上最有錢的人幸運

我覺得非常非常非常非常的感恩

很多人都認為有錢總比沒錢好

因為即使年老

有錢可獲得更好的醫療或住更好的醫院

這在沒有 dhamma 的情況下可能是對的

但當一個人真的獲得法的益處後

你會發現

有機會接觸並發展 dhamma 的人

比有錢人幸運無限倍

而沒錢的人也有很多是 well developed in dhamma

所以在這框架下

有dhamma 比有錢重要和幸運很多

因為

無論你有錢或沒錢

但你年老生病的時候

你還會 craving and aversion

craving for something you wanted

and aversion to some unwanted things

但倘若你有的是 dhamma

your craving and aversion are bound to diminish

所帶來的

是 a real true happiness that is indescribable by words~


I sincerely hope

all these wealthy people that I have had met today

youngsters or oldies

will all come into contact with dhamma soon and get benefit from it

feeling very very grateful

that I have a chance to go to a wealthy place today

which make me further realize that dhamma is really the highest things one can get in the life.


May all beings be happy~~
